Thank you so much for uploading - this was exactly the Queen's Gambit line I was preparing for white(virtually, as I type this) - so it is priceless to me to know what Big Vlad considers black's best! Needless to say, it was the first Stockfish line - and the first line recommended in the book; he played like a machine.
Big mistake, I think, allowing Kramnik to trade queens so soon. As I recall, the story goes that Kramnik in his youth would purposefully seek an early queen exchange in order to practice grinding down his opponent in an endgame.
well theres nothing wrong with that. basically for example if it was classical, if your opponent has moved but not pressed the clock it's your advantage, and you'd try wasting time, but you are still allowed to play the move right? the clock is actually a time keeping device you can say for the players because, if what you were saying was the case, then they would make a system where the arbiter or someone else press the clock, but the players have to keep track
@@gameplaystutorialminecraft6230 My understanding of the clock is that your turn is not actually over until you have pressed the clock. I thought that your opponent had no right to touch the pieces until you had completed your turn by pressing the clock. Is this incorrect?
@@lukeelliott5921 nope this is incorrect, the move is complete when you take your hand off the piece, the clock is a way of telling the arbiter and players about time condition, however the rule states, the clock can only be pressed once move is made
Move is made when player realeses his piece on new square. After that point the move cannot be changed any more. In blitz players often make his move before opponent presses his clock. It saves time and it is legal .
@@freddiecapillan8689 no, he stated it clearly in his retirement speech that he is only retiring from classical. If he said he is quitting chess in general then it would be the right time to question his action. Hope I helped
@@yaserjafar6347 Yes, and Kramnik had just forced the exchange of more. In Blitz I suppose while there are a few pieces left there's a chance of working up some tactics to win one back, but when there are only rooks and pawns left except for the opponent's extra bishop, there's no point.

That’s what I do to try and simplify the game
of course. kramnik is known for brilliant endgame
Don't get me wrong Huzman is so cute while thinking 😀😍
6:15 ending
Big Vlad always the best
Vlad is short for vladislav not vladimir
I’ve wondered for a long time about this, why isn’t moving your pieces before your opponent hits the clock penalized? 0:16

@@gameplaystutorialminecraft6230 Hey, thanks!

What's wrong with the camera? Autofocus?
I am surprised that even at this level King is exposed so early on game.
That queen trade on d1 is still theory
There's a principle that once queens are exchanged the king is safer to play an active part in the game.
That win was nothing to sneeze at.
Awesome....!!!😍😍
I saw Huzman beat Gazza in Rethymnon in 2003.
That was a terrible game by Garry.
failed
Isn't Kramnik retired?
Yeh
@@turkiyett0928 then why he is playing?

Kramnik was like retirement ? I poor 2500's on my corn flakes for breakfast!

@itsMe Varun why is it not illegal?

easy win and very comfortaible position for kramnik
Because he can.
Why are they saying retirement when they will come back again? Like gayweather and pacman. They are not retired but just waiting...
Kramnik retired from classical chess but not the other time formats
@@jackdaniels1749 but is just the same. They are not retired cos when opporrunity knocks they will back again.

Hector Salamanca VS Gus Fring
Kramnik said that he'll not play castling chess anymore!!!!
why resigned?
He is down a piece, the game is lost
