Great video! I was able to visit Italy back in 2001 & 2002 and fell in love. My great great Granparents came to the states from Sicily..would love to visit there someday. Safe travels!!

Sometimes flying is better than driving for hours. I was actually on a really short flight this month too from dallas to Wichita falls which was barely 30 minutes I was so taken aback by that lol
You guys are certainly 'logging the miles' (or kilometers) with all of the trips to New York,and all of the flying you are doing! The flight to the wedding was a fabulous idea, Joe! Last weekend, Tim's friend took me up in his two-seater plane to see what it is like. Tim has been working to get his private pilot's lisense recently, and he only has his test flight left to do. I have also flown a fair bit over the years, but this plane, one of the ones that Tim he has been flying, is the smallest one I have ever been in, for sure. We flew over our farm, and we were so low (less than 2000 feet) that I thought I saw Wile E, lying in the front yard, awaiting our return! It was rather, bumpy, I am not going to lie!! You looked beautiful,Laura,for your tv appearance to introduce the masses to your cookbook when it is released (I am assuming!)! Your excitement is palpable about your upcoming trip to see Nonna, your Mom, your brother, and other family members in Italy (not many sleeps now, missie!!!) I hope you are able to get everything done, packed, and ready for your trip, and that you have a safe and enjoyable flight (and a delicious German breakfast when you have your stopover!). You both have worked so incredibly hard since your last trip there,that you deserve to have an awesome time,and a lovely break. It likely won't be relaxing (trips home to visit family seldom are, but you can sleep when you get back home!), Hope you are able to post some videos while you are away. Apple Joe and Laura. APPLE! My wife and I were Windows for 30 years and switched to Apple devices for our personal computing, etc. A bit of a learning curve, but love it now. I also have Parallel so I can run my legacy Windows apps when needed... seamlessly.

It was 87 degrees in Alaska today, probably much warmer than your plane. It was awesome!! We are a "mixed" family. I have windows and my husband won't touch anything but a Mac. We no longer discuss it!! I figure there's still hope for him, when we met he would only eat Miracle Whip and now he knows that he was wrong and only eats Mayo. Lol.

The key to passport photos is to take your own. Mine is amazing because I took about 50 photos before I picked one. There are free websites that will make the cropping easy and you can just send the photo to your local hour photo place or print it yourself. Been doing it for years for entire extended family.

Funny story about busses receiving tickets in NYC... Every since I was 4 years old during Christmas time I wanted to visit NYC. This was all due to Home Alone. 14 years later in my first quarter of college I had the opportunity to take a bus trip for charity with a friend to NYC. We get to NYC in a crowded bus with obnoxious people who talked from 9:30pm-8am. Low and behold our bus was sitting illegally at the Brooklyn bridge and got a ticket, the bus was found to be uninsured to drive and got a sticker placed on the window saying "not permitted to drive". I was stuck in NYC 17 hours away from home and no plausible way back... The bus took off an we returned to our schedule like nothing happened.

We drove to Connecticut one time from Texas to go to his son's wedding ,and I will never drive that far again!!!!, it took us about 2 1/2 day's to get there!!!! I will fly from now on!!! hahaha!!! Question for ya..Have you heard that you can get a better tasting coffee if you put your sugar/creamer in your cup before you pour your coffee? I thought of that when I saw Joe pouring what looked like the creamer while the cup was in the coffee dispenser area. I watched this cool youtube video of this guy in Spain that talked about how coffee tastes better if it's poured over the sugar/creamer. Ahhhh I saw how happy Laura was getting ready saying how close she is to seeing her Nonna! So excited for her and for you Joe so you can learn some more of the Italian language! lol.. Switched to Mac based a few years ago, still have a few windows systems around however heavy user of power director and love it.. Use it on my mbp through parallels.. Just had to tweak the config to suit the processor ram and ssd.. Love it.. Windows 8 really turned me away from windows boxes.. Love you guys..
I forgot to mention this in the previous vlog, but I did want to say how it's so cute Laura that your Nona is thinking of recipes to put on Laura in the kitchen. Your Nona is so cute and adorable she reminds me of my grandma. Your best videos and recipes are when you are in Italy with your Nona. Also, you should film recipes with your mom (that U.S. If she is comfortable, I know you gave mentioned before she's not), just a suggestion. Oh and by the way I know your brother has a hurl friend, but he is CUTE, well actually HOT! If things don't work out with the girlfriend, send him my way! Lol! I use a brush because I don't like using my hands on my clean face and I feel like I can buff the product in my skin better. Hope that makes sense :)
