Laura I literally was in almost tears after watching your live event. I was just at the youtube space in NewYork about a week ago and to be honest I was hoping I would by chance run into you and Joe because I just love you two so much and you're just such an inspiration. I don't know if you saw my note yesterday, but I got my books delivered to my door a few hours before I got to watch your live stream of your book launch! I got to take my first scan of your book, from cover to cover, prior, and I am just so darn proud of you, mîssie!! It will be a treasured addition to my cookbook collection for years to come, Laura! All the time, energy, effort, and hard work is evident, and it is so worth it! The 'Squirrel Serenade' (interrupted by Clarence the Chicken) 'cracked me up'; I burst out laughing! I am watching this in bed, (I can't sleep) and I feared I woke Tim up beside me! I would have picked the pinky cranberry-coloured Mums; when I first nursed, there were so many carnations, and yellow Mums given to hospitalized patients back then, so they are not a favourite! We call them straw bales, and we have actually grown our own gourds in our garden for Fall decorating! Great to see the 'preamble', and post script to the book launch I watched; I wished I was there to celebrate with you too! Great outfit, missie! I just bought a pair of vegan leather leggings last week, and I intend to “rock them' at 54! I am still 'on a high' from yesterday, as well!! You must feel like you are floating! Congrats again Laura, and sending my Canadîan love, and hugs always, Sherrey❤❤

Your publisher is awesome! The day I received my copy of the book, I received an email from the publisher explaining delivery of the bookplate! Congratulations Laura and Joe, this has been amazing to watch the two of you achieve your dreams!

It's really a beautiful story of a homesick little girl from Italy who shared her love through cooking food for the ones she loved. She became proficient in her cooking skills and grew up to share her gift with the world, who then loved her in return. I checked my mailbox at least 5 times Tuesday until I finally got it at like 7 pm! It was like finding gold haha. I loved it. Every page was so beautiful and I love how personalized it is. I received my cookbook in the Uk yesterday - I absolutely love it. I am probably going to get a protection jacket for it, or cover it, because the cover is absolutely gorgeous to look at, but not particularly wipe able - and I do not want to get it stained :) :) It was great to be able to tune in live to your book launch. So even though I am in the Uk, it was as though I was there in person! Xx

it was amazing meeting you in person at the event. this was my first book launch event and i am really happy that it was for LauraInTheKitchen cookbook. Book is amazing like the pictures and recipes are really easy to follow, will be trying alot of them on future. happy to know indian cuisine comes in your top three list yay for that.

Wow Laura! Your amazing. I found your channel around two years ago a little after my dad passed away. He was a chef and we use to cook in the kitchen growing up. It's awesome how much you and your channel grew. I love your channel and I see your passion for food and it reminds me of my dad.
