I should've watched this before I took mine apart to change the back spacer. Like a dumbass, I disassembled mine with the spring still in battery (blade closed). I grabbed the spring and it leg go against my fingers.....hurts like a sonofabitch LOL. That's a nice, thick spring. Took me a bit to finally figure out you have open the blade to disassemble/assemble these things. Trying to put it back together in the closed position is damn near impossible. The parts of a Kershaw are a more precise fit than a typical Benchmade IMHO. Don't have to beat and bang on a Kershaw to get the studs back in place, they snap right together.

Absolutely! I'm sorry that happened to you! I agree that Kershaws have pretty great tolerances compared to Benchmades!

Great vid ! One question: where do I find aftermarket upgrade parts for this knife? Wasn't able to find anything on Ebay.

@@ohioknifelover That's what I thought. Anyway, thank you for very good video. At list now I know how to take care of this knife.

How did you get the third one one out? At the start of your video it’s already out

I was lucky to get it loose enough to where I got hold onto the non-tooled side with a pair of pliers
