    I like the way the crowd are well-oiled and just want to have a good time and don't give a shit that Eric and Albert are playing in front of them.

    Featuring Albert Lee. Quiet man of Blues R&R but with a smooth voice and a great hand too.

      Sadly, a lot of the rhythm section go unnoticed, especially if they're really good. The good ones get it right every-time single time and don't pull focus, professionals.

    Chas & Daves is the first music/band I remember hearing in my life.
    I've lived near london from 80 to 84, from my 8 months to 4 years and I never forgot the Chas & Daves tape my dad brought. I played that damn cassette all day for weeks. Poor dad, trying to study...
    Thinking back now, maybe that's why I play bass now. Every song has a great bass line... thank god the tape wasn't Lionel Richies!!! Nice upload, thanks a lot!

    Love how uninhibited the dancers are. Just having a drink up and letting their hair down. Great stuff. People these days are so much more self censoring in their behaviour. They'd all be taking photos and videoing to be fair...

    yeah, Albert played with Eric for some years, he needed him badly at times cos he was blootered wit alcohol at times.
    Chas and Dave are two of the best musicians to grace a stage. they opened for led zepp at their first so called farewell at Knebworth i was there, THEY WERE AWESOME GERCHA.

    • @Pauls_Archive
      @Pauls_Archive 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Kevin Rowan-Drewitt Eric was a guest here, he joined in and played/sang what was required of him - Slow Down Linda is a Track from one of his albums anyway, so the point you make is infact pointless!!

    • @davidmellish3295
      @davidmellish3295 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah that was when he was a kid and a purist. People do grow up and change their opinions, he's said on loads of interviews how back then he wasn't interested in being popular and what a silly attitude he had,cause if he's not popular then how would he earn a living?
      He soon got rid of that attitude once he'd experienced the super stardom of being in Cream.

    And not a black person in the pub. The days before colonisation.

    • @garyandrews6734
      @garyandrews6734 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I saw two dancing separately within minutes, f***king racist dickhead. Looking for a way to spread your venom. On four occasions there is a black person shown. Where and when does a slow mind like yours think colonisation began? Oh, and guess what, in a lot of cases it gave them British citizenship. Thicko.

      Blind as well as a twat.

    • @southerncomfort7490
      @southerncomfort7490 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@garyandrews6734 Clapton made one drunken outburst in a concert forty-six years ago, for which is subsequently apologised. For that you think that he should bear the mark of Cain for evermore. No doubt you think this because you yourself lead a life of unspotted perfection. It is a comfort to know that saints live among us.
      It is a curious paradox that those who most crave tolerance are themselves the least tolerant of others.

      @garyandrews6734 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@southerncomfort7490 I didn't say anything about Clapton, not sure what you mean. Your original comment seemed to be a bit 'racist', implying that black people are colonising our country.
