hyper-v maybe i could see the appeal since it's a type 1 hypervisor (instead of type 2 like virtualbox or vmware) and has direct access to machine resources but vmware i don't really get, it's just a heavier application tbh
The Great Windows Downgrade: the one where you just install and use it over a sane operating system.
Install it and wait till microsoft slowly makes it worse through updates.
For Windows server 2025 you might want to change the os in virtualbox to Windows 11 because it is verry likely it needs an efi guest.
