Definitely admire Maddie for not compromising her values and not lowering the standards she had set for herself. And being able to let go after being invested in this relationship, she was incredibly brave to do so.
Idk. People need to stop saying bad things about Hannah Ann or Madi. CLEARLY, Peter is the problem. He has fed into drama, was distracted, and at the end of the day, he is facing consequences for his actions...not just during fantasy suites, but the whole season.

I’ve never respected someone so much on the bachelor then I do with Madison. She’s willing to come to terms with the real world and let him be happy no matter what. Very mature for her age and she’s only one year older than me.
Madi is probably one of the most realistic people who considers what the relationship will be like in the real world. She considers how they have such different lifestyles and beliefs which is by no means a bad thing. My take is that they have the strongest chemistry but not the strongest compatibility. Madison took the high road here..Peter's mother and the family were basically running her off and she didn't want to make Peter choose between her and his mother..it should have been up to Peter to stand up to his mother stronger and not allow Madison to be put through that.
His mom actually his WHOLE FAMILY just see right through her. They see that they are not compatible and its his family. They are letting him know that this might not be the one for him. And because of them talking to her she now sees that. This is her son thinking about marrying someone who is not compatible or sure about him. My thoughts since no ones asked: I have a hard time understanding peter saying that he loves Maddie more than HA in this episode yet when Maddie left, he’s now talking about how much he’s in love with HA as if Maddie didn’t exist. It’s not a switch you can turn off/on. I’m all for valuing parent opinions but peters mom seems like she’s too involved. His parents know way too much about his sex life than any parent should and have no right to push their opinions on him like that. That wasn’t guidance - that was manipulation. His mom trying to make Maddie feel bad about her values was disgusting. She may be a good mom who loves her son, but she needs to take a big step back. A relationship is a two way street. You cant just expect Maddie to cluelessly follow peter along while he makes decisions that can negatively impact their relationship. Good for Maddie for sticking up to what she believes in and good for HA for finally questioning peter in this episode. I think he has a lot of learning to do and doesn’t deserve either right now.
I'm pretty sure that his mother wasn't attacking her beliefs and the way she chooses to live life. I think what bothered her the most is that Madison for one, waited this long to address with Peter how she felt about sex before marriage and how it would make her feel if he did have sex with someone besides her. But she sat there for months with her mouth shut and decided till the very end to bring it up. Two, that she put him in a really awkward spot of "If you sleep with someone else, then I'm done." That's fine if that's the way she feels but at the same time she made the choice to be on a show that's about a man who dates multiple women. She needs to realize that it's not all about her. This is the price you pay when you date a man who's involved with other women besides you. It's not about his mom thinking that her beliefs are wrong but I think she views Madison's behavior as manipulative. I mean, really *why* did Madison decide to wait till the very end of the season to address this and more so, why would she even want to be apart of this in the first place? I don't believe for a second that she didn't know what she was getting into. This show has a reputation of people signing up for it for the wrong reasons, such as wanting to be famous. Can you see where his mom would suspect this and feel annoyed? She probably feels like Madison used her son to get fame. Because unlike Peter, his mother is not blind and can see that this chick does not love him. I'm not saying that his mom should step into his business and have a say in who he dates but she saw how heartbroken Peter was after Hannah Brown. That couldn't have been easy on her and I honestly feel she's just trying to protect her son from being hurt. That's a mother's natural instinct, even if her son is a grown adult.

Why Peter Why??? When you took Madison to your parents wedding re-vows she was so meant to be your person. She really believed in you Peter but then you had to go screw it up or should I say screw them! Whatever the outcome Madison is a super person. She has goals and one of those goals was to save herself for marriage. That's not something just anyone can do these days. I have been a Madison fan this entire season, but seeing them tonight really changed things up for me a bit. I honestly don't see them working out long-term. I feel like Madison would always expect more and more from Peter in terms of religion, lifestyle, and morals/values. I feel like all of these factors don't align for this couple. That doesn't make either one of them a bad person. But it does make them incompatible. I can see lots of disagreements, arguments, conflict, frustration, and ultimately, resentment, arising from this relationship were it to last long-term UNLESS they are both willing to compromise and meet somewhere in the middle. It can't be just Peter, or just Madison, but BOTH of them who are willing to work hard to make their relationship work, and this may be too exhausting or draining for both of them in the long-run. So, no, I do not think they are compatible, which makes me sad. :( Also, I don't think Barb is to blame. She was just pointing out a truth that even Madison eventually realized and accepted.

Barbara isnt to blame for Peter's choices, as madi said he is a big boy. But she is very manipulative. She uses the "I said a prayer, and the answer is hannah" card after knowing madi is religious. Instead of talking through his thoughts, she just told him who to pick, then she cried about it. She is obviously very proud of his playboy lifestyle and doesnt want madi to change that. Madi needs to run! She will always be the one at fault in barbs eyes.
I feel sorry for Peter because he might think he ruined it all because he slept with someone. But that’s not the whole reason. The main reason is because their Core beliefs are different.
They’re just not compatible. In order for them to work they would both have to compromise or one of them has to completely have a character makeover. It would take a miracle for that to happen. They should really end it now. It’ll sting for a little while, but at least they won’t have to kill each other’s spirits daily for the rest of their lives when they do get married.

When did Madi say he can’t drink alcohol? There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s more about the excess at which people go to get wasted. It’s not cute anyways haha. Even though I don't believe in any of the 3000 religions, I always supported Madison's stand on the show. This won't work with Peter, partners need to be in the same belief system if religion is a deal breaker, even better is when one realizes we're first human, before learning religion.

I love Madi but she shouldn't have been on the show. Her faith and the show believe in different things. She also didn't stand by ultimatum or expectations. She also forgets he is dating other women who have expectations too. Sex before marriage is normal for some people so what was Peter supposed to do about the other women's expectations? Once she realized he slept with someone she should have left, knowing deep down she wouldn't be able to get over it. She also has not been able to state her true feelings... Once you love someone, you don't hold back...
She should have told him about her values and her virginity at the beginning of the season. After all she got the first one on one date. She is awesome. She waited this long to loose her virginity. But, this show is different.
Definitely admire Maddie for not compromising her values and not lowering the standards she had set for herself. And being able to let go after being invested in this relationship, she was incredibly brave to do so.

I have a hard time understanding peter saying that he loves Maddie more than HA in this episode yet when Maddie left, he’s now talking about how much he’s in love with HA as if Maddie didn’t exist. It’s not a switch you can turn off/on.
I’m all for valuing parent opinions but peters mom seems like she’s too involved. His parents know way too much about his sex life than any parent should and have no right to push their opinions on him like that. That wasn’t guidance - that was manipulation.
His mom trying to make Maddie feel bad about her values was disgusting. She may be a good mom who loves her son, but she needs to take a big step back. A relationship is a two way street. You cant just expect Maddie to cluelessly follow peter along while he makes decisions that can negatively impact their relationship. Good for Maddie for sticking up to what she believes in and good for HA for finally questioning peter in this episode. I think he has a lot of learning to do and doesn’t deserve either right now.

I'm pretty sure that his mother wasn't attacking her beliefs and the way she chooses to live life. I think what bothered her the most is that Madison for one, waited this long to address with Peter how she felt about sex before marriage and how it would make her feel if he did have sex with someone besides her. But she sat there for months with her mouth shut and decided till the very end to bring it up. Two, that she put him in a really awkward spot of "If you sleep with someone else, then I'm done." That's fine if that's the way she feels but at the same time she made the choice to be on a show that's about a man who dates multiple women. She needs to realize that it's not all about her. This is the price you pay when you date a man who's involved with other women besides you. It's not about his mom thinking that her beliefs are wrong but I think she views Madison's behavior as manipulative. I mean, really *why* did Madison decide to wait till the very end of the season to address this and more so, why would she even want to be apart of this in the first place? I don't believe for a second that she didn't know what she was getting into. This show has a reputation of people signing up for it for the wrong reasons, such as wanting to be famous. Can you see where his mom would suspect this and feel annoyed? She probably feels like Madison used her son to get fame. Because unlike Peter, his mother is not blind and can see that this chick does not love him. I'm not saying that his mom should step into his business and have a say in who he dates but she saw how heartbroken Peter was after Hannah Brown. That couldn't have been easy on her and I honestly feel she's just trying to protect her son from being hurt. That's a mother's natural instinct, even if her son is a grown adult.

I have been a Madison fan this entire season, but seeing them tonight really changed things up for me a bit. I honestly don't see them working out long-term. I feel like Madison would always expect more and more from Peter in terms of religion, lifestyle, and morals/values. I feel like all of these factors don't align for this couple. That doesn't make either one of them a bad person. But it does make them incompatible.
I can see lots of disagreements, arguments, conflict, frustration, and ultimately, resentment, arising from this relationship were it to last long-term UNLESS they are both willing to compromise and meet somewhere in the middle. It can't be just Peter, or just Madison, but BOTH of them who are willing to work hard to make their relationship work, and this may be too exhausting or draining for both of them in the long-run. So, no, I do not think they are compatible, which makes me sad. :(

Even though I don't believe in any of the 3000 religions, I always supported Madison's stand on the show. This won't work with Peter, partners need to be in the same belief system if religion is a deal breaker, even better is when one realizes we're first human, before learning religion.

If she told Peter in the start of their relationship then that would be up to Peter to decide wether he still wanted her in the mansion. But she kept it and he fell for her am guessing she knew Peter wouldn’t really consider their relationship if she had told him that basing on the fact mere fact that Peter is Peter and would want something to happen during the fantasy suite nights. I love Madi but she shouldn't have been on the show. Her faith and the show believe in different things. She also didn't stand by ultimatum or expectations. She also forgets he is dating other women who have expectations too. Sex before marriage is normal for some people so what was Peter supposed to do about the other women's expectations? Once she realized he slept with someone she should have left, knowing deep down she wouldn't be able to get over it. She also has not been able to state her true feelings... Once you love someone, you don't hold back...
