Listen Peter didn’t really care about Madison’s feelings. He knew she was against him being intimate with other women yet he went ahead and slept with them knowing it would hurt her. This may not go well with most of you but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.. First of all, I respect Madison for upholding her morals and making that commitment to save sex for marriage...but the truth is not everyone has made such a commitment and with that said sorry to say but she'd have to 'find someone who's made the same commitment' for her to get married and probably she might find such a person and not be in love with them. Coming to the show I presume she already knew that Peter had slept with Hannah B four times in the windmill and whether Peter had sex or not in this season of the Bachelor he still wasn't a virgin... he's not 'as pure as Madison' Additionally, she says she's not giving Peter an ultimatum yet ideally she is giving him an ultimatum. You just can't say 'if you sleep with anybody else am going to find it hard to accept a proposal' and claim that's not giving someone an ultimatum..what else would it be if not an ultimatum? At this point, Madison isn't Peter's wife yet...they are not married..to be brutally honest she has no right to tell him what to do or what not to do... furthermore she hasn't even expressed how she feels about him yet the other women have.. Peter has the right to make his own decisions and I feel like Madison felt like she was entitled and selfish to tell him what he can or can't do... that's not right and fair at all...and I like what Peter said...Madison is not the only woman he's dating .. he's dating 2 other women and it's only right if he gives each relationship the attention and commitment each deserves... I would say to Peter, you did know what her standards and wishes were before Fantasy dates. If you even had a slight idea she was the one you wanted to spend forever with, you should of withheld from going on either of the other two nights together to avoid temptation, pick her date 1st so she could make it perfectly clear to you without cameras, or be a strong man. If I were her I would be very hurt and confused with how much you "did" love her and don't know if you deserved another chance. Peoples values need to be respected, whether they meet yours or not and if she was the one you wanted, you really needed to show her by trying to restrain from temptation. I'm not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, but I never blamed Madi on this one. Almost every Bachelor has said they knew who they were going to pick by final three, so if you do sleep with your whole final three, you're just doing it for fun. I don't even like Nick, but he only slept Vanessa because he knew she'd have a problem with it. Madi and Pete had a conversation prior, and he still went for it, assuming she would just get over it.
She, Madison, will likely keep walking away from him (Peter). Hanna Ann will likely get Peter, though this is a current guess. Unsure if he'd take back Hannah Brown.

This is the same as the scene where Hannah was asked if she'd been intimate with the other contestants and she was furious the guy asked. Of course you can't try out a contestant that way and expect it not to be a dealkiller for another contestant.

On the other hand, Madison was just trying to be raw and open to Peter about her standards, which is, in fact, not shaming him, but rather, opening the door for honest conversation.

Hmm. Sooo I think Madison shouldn’t have given him ultimatum. It wasn’t right for Luke to do it to Hannah. So why is it right for Madison to do it? She put him in a uncomfortable situation. And yup peter fucked up. BUT she was not honest with him! She should’ve told him after the rose ceremony the reason why she was feeling some type of way. She failed to tell him she was saving her self for marriage in my opinion that’s should’ve been on her priority before getting to the last 3 on fantasy suite! This may not go well with most of you but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion..
First of all, I respect Madison for upholding her morals and making that commitment to save sex for marriage...but the truth is not everyone has made such a commitment and with that said sorry to say but she'd have to 'find someone who's made the same commitment' for her to get married and probably she might find such a person and not be in love with them.
Coming to the show I presume she already knew that Peter had slept with Hannah B four times in the windmill and whether Peter had sex or not in this season of the Bachelor he still wasn't a virgin... he's not 'as pure as Madison'
Additionally, she says she's not giving Peter an ultimatum yet ideally she is giving him an ultimatum. You just can't say 'if you sleep with anybody else am going to find it hard to accept a proposal' and claim that's not giving someone an ultimatum..what else would it be if not an ultimatum?
At this point, Madison isn't Peter's wife yet...they are not married..to be brutally honest she has no right to tell him what to do or what not to do... furthermore she hasn't even expressed how she feels about him yet the other women have.. Peter has the right to make his own decisions and I feel like Madison felt like she was entitled and selfish to tell him what he can or can't do... that's not right and fair at all...and I like what Peter said...Madison is not the only woman he's dating .. he's dating 2 other women and it's only right if he gives each relationship the attention and commitment each deserves...

I would say to Peter, you did know what her standards and wishes were before Fantasy dates. If you even had a slight idea she was the one you wanted to spend forever with, you should of withheld from going on either of the other two nights together to avoid temptation, pick her date 1st so she could make it perfectly clear to you without cameras, or be a strong man. If I were her I would be very hurt and confused with how much you "did" love her and don't know if you deserved another chance. Peoples values need to be respected, whether they meet yours or not and if she was the one you wanted, you really needed to show her by trying to restrain from temptation. I can only imagine which one it was, I'm betting on Victoria because it has already been said she has been a relationship wrecker, so what is one more to her. I do want to see Madison and Peter together at the end, but this one I'm not sure if she is Christian enough to turn the other cheek.
Great comments. It would take a lot from Maddy/Madison to turn the other cheek, find the inner fortitude and strength to forgive him. Peter mishandled things so far. I'm not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, but I never blamed Madi on this one. Almost every Bachelor has said they knew who they were going to pick by final three, so if you do sleep with your whole final three, you're just doing it for fun. I don't even like Nick, but he only slept Vanessa because he knew she'd have a problem with it. Madi and Pete had a conversation prior, and he still went for it, assuming she would just get over it.

I can't hate Peter because Madison knew where he stood on this subject. And then he's been honest - he's not lying and telling her what she wants to hear, which is what most people would do. He hasn't been great in his decisions but he's also not been on the same level as her and he's made that clear, even if it wasn't verbally.
No one judged Hannah this hard when she was telling three guys she was in love with them. No one judged Hannah this hard when she not only slept with Jed and Peter, she told Tyler she wanted to go out with him after she refused his proposal and then asked out Peter too.
She has standards, and the minute he said he was intimate with someone else, the switch in her head should have turned off. She’s too good for him.

She should have spoken about it with Peter early on. He was always giving her roses without knowing how she felt. It's difficult for him to know how strict her standards were because she was willing to sign up for a process that comes with a ton intimacy. I'm also a virgin and saving my self for marriage, but I wouldn't have signed up for a process like that in the first place. If I did, I would have been much more clear about things very early, especially if it was a make or break standard of mine for a relationship
