  • A simple round sign for my backdrop. This is video of how I made a backlit sign. The LEDs are Red, Green and Blue on a strip with a remote.

    Can I ask what is that plastic like diffusion material and where did you get it?

      could be acetate or some arts and crafts stores have a thin material like that used to cut stencils out of. Check Michaels Arts and Crafts or Somewhere like that.

    I like the build! perhaps shorten a few of the repetitive things like your flexi cuts and the lining of the lights and the like for brevity's sake. Great looking sign when all is said and done!

      It's a diffuser for the light. Lense from a 2x4 fluorescent light fixture?

      I got it from rabbit lasers usa. It was an 80 watt model with a 1200mm bed.

      It was just something I had laying around. I will try and find out. The adhesive is Goop or E-6000.

    Probably needed to glue in that light strip seeing as the glue on the back of them is pure shit

      I guess it doen't show it in the video but I glue the edges down with E-6000
