Catching someone else's Striper - Day time Striped Bass action

I decided to fish the surf the other day. Haven't been out since last video. Didn't know what to expect. The original plan was to fish for Summer flounder but I saw some stripers swimming very close to the beach lip. So I switched to Striper fishing.

Hey we have the same hobbies. Surf fish nirth jersey shore and salty rivers, and in the cb 11 meter hobby for 20 years. Built a variety of antennas. I also do beach backpack radio setup, wire antenna up fishing pole, ground plane wire into ocean, portable 12v battery. Where do you fish?

Wow that's awesome! I fish mostly on long island but when I am traveling I also fish. I participated the ARRL January VHF contest one year by the beach where I fish and the result was pretty good. Have you get your ham license yet? The test is very easy nowadays and worth getting it.
