  • I've made this relaxing tutorial on how to make your own LOW TECH shallow planted aquarium under nano aquascape category. It's big enough for your betta fish and small enough to fit your office desk space making it the perfect Table top aquarium.
    This tank is a mix of marginal pond plants and aquatic plants. Some aquatic plants are expected to grow out of water and show their emersed form

      I know it's kinda off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online?

    Beautifull setup absolutely gorgeus! Im trying to build something similar, but it will take some time of growing before it will be this pretty 😅
    What about the metal clamps on the wood though, dont you want to remove them? 🤔

      Haha. I was too lazy to remove em, they're staples from the seller

    I feel like an HOB filter would take up as much room as the pipes from the canister filter, but be cheaper. Any reason you went with the external filter rather than HOB?

    • @AquaristForFun
      @AquaristForFun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      more aesthetic with lesser equipment visible.
      Also, external canister filters also give additional water capacity that runs throughout the entire system. More water means more room for error and can help dilute wastes. Imagine 1 candy wrapper inside your pocket. and imagine that same candy wrapper inside your backpack. Waste organics wouldn't be as concentrated.
      also, canister filters have a larger capacity for filter media. providing even more stability.
      with canister filters, i now have an option for different
      co2 diffusion methods like intank diffuser, inline diffuser heck i can even go for an inline reactor if i wanted to. you can't really do that on a HoB. Flexibility and gives me options in the future.

    Beautiful tank, but seriously, at that sitting level, and with the lamp being that high, the light is going to be shining pretty bright. Does that not bother you??

    • @AquaristForFun
      @AquaristForFun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It didn't really bother me or my wife. But yeah, its a really intense light and might not be for everyone
