Lamarr, my boy... how could you NOT show all the color combinations(yellow-red)? I immediately figured yellow-blue would look best, but i kinda wanted to see how yellow-red looked in comparison. That black & yellow - when in the grip - was surprisingly hot! I find it interesting how the distance between the colored Joycon have a notable impact on their appeal. For instance; handheld mode seems much better suited for mixed colors than the grip. Conversely, the grip makes single-colored Joy-con even more appealing than handheld mode. From my perspective at least.
That moment when yellow and black go so well together. I didn't even know I would want a yellow Joy con but seeing as I don't have a nintendo switch I shouldn't even worry.
I've considered buying the dock for mine to allow it to transition between tvs within my household really smoothly. I am disappointed that there isn't a travel dongle yet to allow for power and HDMI connection to the console. There is no real reason to haul around a full dock in a bag with all that extra plastic enclosure. Just take the circuit board and put it into a 3x3 inch puck with the same inputs as the full size tv stand dock. A more portable docking setup desire is what everyone has pointed out already for the device and some have gone so far as to 3D print their own small housings and gut the internals of this dock to make their own. We of course all want a nice first party accessory from Nintendo rather than resorting to DIY.
