A person who does not have the financial means for marriage, or for example a student. He cannot afford to pay for his wife's expenses, so what can he do? Control his strong sexual desires, in his youth, for years??! Islam suggests temporary marriage. So that he can fulfill his desires in a legal way. Then there's the traveller. Islam has already made prayers and fasting qasr for him. But what about his desires? He can't afford to take his wife with him everywhere he goes. So what does he do? Control his desires on the entire journey, every time he travels? He would definitely fall into sin. So Islam again suggests temporary marriage. Islam is such an amazing religion that it even tells what to do about the child that is born, and the rulings of inheritance. Alhumdulillah, we followed the Prophet's parting advice to hold closely the Quran and Ahle Bait to stay on the right path.

So the Sunnis who say Mutah marriage is Zina. Does that mean the Sahaba committed Zina since Mutah was once permissible according to your hadiths? God would never permit any kind of obscenity. Many Sunni scholars permit marriage with the intention of getting divorced, so how is this any different from temporary marriage? At least with Mutah the wife knows when the marriage will end. Omar is the one who prohibited Mutah. They're plenty of hadiths that support that, but I am sure Sunnis already know that, right?

Islam is such a beautiful religion that it considers the needs of everyone. God did not create desires and then only make a lawful path for rich people. Instead, he made a way for everyone.
A person who does not have the financial means for marriage, or for example a student. He cannot afford to pay for his wife's expenses, so what can he do? Control his strong sexual desires, in his youth, for years??! Islam suggests temporary marriage. So that he can fulfill his desires in a legal way.
Then there's the traveller. Islam has already made prayers and fasting qasr for him. But what about his desires? He can't afford to take his wife with him everywhere he goes. So what does he do? Control his desires on the entire journey, every time he travels? He would definitely fall into sin. So Islam again suggests temporary marriage.
Islam is such an amazing religion that it even tells what to do about the child that is born, and the rulings of inheritance.
