can tell Jim's rubbed off on me when Brian says of a program from the 70s "no countouts, no disqualifications" and I instinctively blurt out "LAZY BOOKING"
@@jerrythomas4457 I bet you wouldn't last in a Pro Wrestling Ring ever let alone a MMA ring and a Boxing ring.. People that quick to disrespect something be the ones who can't do it..
It's seriously kinda ridiculous. I can't remember names of people I've met weeks ago and Jim can recite the whole family tree of wrestlers from sixty years ago. Including various important points in their lives or their favorite food. And I forget things in store that I don't put on a shopping list.
This is freakish mutant powers Jim has to remember all of these, no one can even remember what happend in AEW or WWE other than the same story of someone debuting or no championships happening
Lou Thesz said Ray Steele, Joe Stecher and Ed Lewis were the two best wrestlers he ever saw. He didn't rate Flair or Race that much but then he was comparing them to very high standards of wrestling. And Flair and Race were what Thesz considered less wrestling and more choreographed stunt shows. He also didn't rate Bruno that highly either. But people like Thesz, Ed Strangler Lewis, Stecher, Ray Steele, Pat O'Connor were a very calibre in terms of catch wrestling.
I find it really interesting watching these to see just how different wrestling cards were put together back then. Seemed like in the territory days 2 out of 3 falls main events were super common. I kinda like that idea.
Older Tommy Gilbert with the mustache did not look like Smokey and the Bandit Burt. Younger Tommy Gilbert without the mustache was a dead ringer for the Longest Yard Burt.
Why would that be good? Grow up man we don't wanna hear about that old slop understand me?! Quit hyping people up because if JIM ACTUALLY DOES THIS i am personally holding you responsible!👇🏼 and best believe I've got some pull with wrestling
When a guessing game between hosts is more fun than talking about wrestling.
Nah, They have charisma and presence.. A Person that knows how to get the attention of the crowd can make the most boring things fun to listen to..
This is about wrestling. 🤡 🍑
Reminiscing about the good old days >>>>>>>>>>>> whatever is going on today.

I said that to myself when I heard that. Laaaaazy Booking
I was wondering if he was gone say it 🤣
You caught that too right?

You're here listening to commentary about old "gay pretend fighting"
Love this stuff. Wish they would drop a show and do more of this.
Jim has probably forgotten more about wrestling than we'll ever know.
for sure lol
In one of the episodes he responded to a fan that said the same with "I resent that remark because I aint forgot much" lol

The joy I felt when I realized this was a recent edition! Love this segment!
Was hoping that Buddy Rogers match was against Iron Mike Tyson lol
Love this segment! Please continue to do it!

Jim can remember what happened in 1965 better than I can in 2015
Yes ! So happy this is back learned so much from them last time
Jim: "Maybe it'll put me in a good mood."
also Jim: "SHIT!!!"
It's nice to hear Jim legitimately having fun. You can hear the enthusiasm and practically see the smile on his face.
I just knew "philatelist" was going to be something dirty. I was wrong.
12:21 "cyclone anaya vs jack o'reilly" sounds like it could easily be two current aew names
This is freakish mutant powers Jim has to remember all of these, no one can even remember what happend in AEW or WWE other than the same story of someone debuting or no championships happening
This is always fun
Love the segments on wrestling history. Could listen to Jim and Brian discuss stuff like this all day👍
I just love hearing the history these programs generate

Love the concept of those segments but really hate the programs picked by Brian
I love these guess the program segments

"Memphis! Son of a btich" what a start.👍😁
Aren't you special?
I have no clue who they're talking about, but I still love to hear Bryan and Jim discuss wrestling history.
Its not good man. Nobody wanna hear this old slop dude. quit encouraging it!👇🏼now!
Iiii want to hear about current or 98 wrestling understand me? No earlier because its horrible wrestling. So plz don't encourage it. Thanks.
I usually enjoy these guess the program segments but I was completely lost even though I’m well versed in my wrestling knowledge.
Joe Malchowitz went to San Francisco looking for a woman.
Older Tommy Gilbert with the mustache did not look like Smokey and the Bandit Burt. Younger Tommy Gilbert without the mustache was a dead ringer for the Longest Yard Burt.
Guess the program > Jeopardy
everything is better than that crappy game show, it was always trash, even with trebeck (however you spell it) hosting
Sandor Kovacs, Gene Kiniski and Don Owen bought the Vancouver Nwa territory in 68
"Trios" is such BS! Does anyone call 8-man tags "quartets"???
Best segment ever on TH-cam
Fire notice. We just invented it HAHAHAHA
Okay I'm in. Gonna say... Alabama territory... 1962
Okay that second one could be anywhere but I'll say San Fran because of Malcewicz and I'll take a stab at... 1937.
Okay the clue pushes it earlier. I'll say... 19... 25.
Meh.
Okay so the next one is Tinnosea 1975ish?
Birmingham Schmirmingham.
My favourite much love from the UK
9:10 "....lllazy booking!"
This is a really fun segment
My favorite segment!
Dante & Mephisto were Bobby Hart & Frankir Kane.
I wish Jim would teach a class in wrestling history!
I’d like to see a Jim books dead promotions for today’s audience
Why would that be good? Grow up man we don't wanna hear about that old slop understand me?! Quit hyping people up because if JIM ACTUALLY DOES THIS i am personally holding you responsible!👇🏼 and best believe I've got some pull with wrestling
The long-gone days of SASE!
Man, Jim's got that old fogie way of speaking down perfectly...
talking about wrestling is fun just drpends on who and what the subject is
Does anyone know of any recording with Ole Anderson playing this game?
What happened to the segment that was what if the midnight express went to different territories? Did they ever do that again?
