Hopping on top comment to say 35:00 the symptoms of a werewolf sound a lot like the symptoms of rabies. The whole extreme thirst, fatigue, looking pale, drooling, aggressively attacking people while behaving like an animal and growling, the fact you become a werewolf in most Legends by being bit by a werewolf, that just screams rabies to me. Sometimes rabies victims are afraid of water but not always I wonder if cases of rabies were actually the origin of werewolves. And wolves themselves can and do carry rabies but healthy wolves for the most part totally avoid humans but lived in very close proximity to humans and livestock back then (because there were a much much larger amount of wolves because there wasn't as much development back then). A wolf with rabies would have no fear of humans it would just stand there and drool and then attack and bite if not kill the humans. So to onlookers and witnesses all they would see is a wolf not acting like a normal wolf who bites someone then they gets rabies and start behaving like a wolf. It would seem to them a clear case of lycanthropy. Rabies definitely existed back then but they didn't know it existed so cases of rabies would naturally be categorized as cases of lycanthropy.

Hello 👋 Half German half American (Irish ancestry) here. "Der Ring der Niebelungen" is an opera by Richard Wagner . The Poster next to it "Aida" is also a famous opera.... I've forgotten by whom at the moment. Der Ring Der Nibelungen is based on old german saga basically about Siegfried the hero who slayed the dragon protecting the "Rheingold" a treasure hidden at the botom of the Rhein a big river in Germany. He famously bathed in the dragons blood which made him invincible exept for a tiny place on his back where a leaf landed and the dragons blood didn't get to. It's a whole saga it starts with the daughters of the River who are the treasures keepers ... I think. It's a looooooong story and I'm afraid I've forgotten most of it. The opera goes on for DAYS and I'm not even exaggerating. Anyways her mom starring in a Wagner opera and Aida must mean she is a dramatic soprano (female opera singers who specialize in singing very high and loud basically they typically have very mature voices that can produce a lot of volume... there are also lyric sopranos and coloratur sopranos more delicate voices that specialize in other fields of opera )
I apologize for commenting three times on the same video, but 28 minutes in and you've got yourself a typical Irish family tree. I only have to go back three generations and I can match all of those names to the Irish versions in my family!
Can't tell you how big a smile I had watching this video! These games were so important to me growing up, seeing your reaction to the little quirks of the characters and puzzles is so therapeutic after a hard week. PLEASE don't stop.
Rewatching this for background noise when I hear the part about the "bow-tie" rune being Othala at 33:21 .... that's... that's Dagaz.... "D"... they mixed up Othala and Dagaz...
I was reading out the 'bling' 'bah' 'woop's with Evelien whilst she was going up the stairs, and was like "woah" at the same time when she came across those switches 😄
Also, as someone who spent thee first 31 years of their life living in London, that cockney rhyming slang is even beyond me. (Though I have had a few glasses of pinot)
Don’t you hate when you’re trying to walk up the stairs and it goes BLA-DING

The Curse of Blackmoor Manor is one of my favorites. I love the parrot so much. Lol
Stop, Gab and I are both Virgos and the year of the dragon!!!! And I find out while watching Nancy, my fav JR detective! This is the best day of my life :)))
"What kind of little girl reads a book like that" Linda I'm standing right here
I played all the games as a kid with my sister and we still play them whenever we hang out and see each other. Brings back so many happy memories. Thank you for playing these
Literally found this channel last night through puppet combo Night Watch and had no idea Gab also did ND. Super excited, nothing quite like a good first time playthrough :))))))
This game is smack dab in the middle of the ND golden age (9-13) and is such a fun and moody adventure of creepy occult sciences, fantastic soundtracks, and two separate but parallel mysteries, each with plenty of clues sprinkled throughout the game hiding in plain sight.
Could definitely make my top 5 favorites :)
Funny seeing you here 👀
@@thenerdyberty ERM UH I CAN EXPLAIN
THIS IS MY FAVORITE NANCY DREW GAME!!! It was the first one I ever played! I even had a while walkthrough on paper that I made from way too many playthroughs. 😍 I'm so excited to see you play!
This absolutely made my day 🙌 thank you for the video. These games are so much fun, I love piecing all the clues and puzzles together. And this one has so many minigames lol!! Poor Jane, she just wants someone to play with. 😊 Can’t wait for the next part ✨
I am so happy to see Gab playing Nancy Drew. These games have good puzzles and I am looking forward to her commentary.
AAAAAAHHHH!!! I have such good memories tied to this game. Me and my 2 sisters crammed together around a laptop. Writing down every little detail in our "detective" journal, spending hours on certain puzzles... Watching you play this makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again. Thank you for playing this.
P.s. Absolutely love the twilight princess play through.
Yess, I've been waiting for new Nancy Drew series, thank you so much, Gab! And I feel so bad that I missed this stream, because of my studies. By the way, you look so pretty with this hairstyle
My God, the voice acting! I couldn't stop giggling. I'm exciting to watch you finish this! I never did get into Nancy Drew Games as a kid, but I loved the books.
Got so excited when the paper about the Futhark came up! I’ve started leaning how to read and write old Norse, and I just got my first rune set! It’s made of labradorite! 🥰
Love, love, love Gab playing Nancy Drew ❤️
Lūdi sine gaudio, lūdi non sunt
A game without joy is not a game
Ludi is latin for game
Gaudio is happy/fun
Non sunt means "are not/is not"
I have 31 Nancy Drew games on my Big Fish Games account. Loved every single one, this included.
This game legit scared me when I first played it! One of the scariest ND games hands down. So excited to see you play it!
This is my favourite ND game! The setting and the story are so extra. And you get ALL the puzzles!
I played this when I was younger. This brings back memories.

Not even 3 minutes in and the aunt really said "If you heard something, no you didn't" 😂
I'd love to see you play the Captive Curse. It's one of my favorites in the Nancy Drew games, and it also takes place in a spooky old castle with a monster
When Jane talks about Brady Armstrong he’s actually an actor that’s a main character in Nancy drew game #5 The final scene :)
Hello 👋
Half German half American (Irish ancestry) here.
I wish I hadn't missed this live omg, love the series, one of the all-time best puzzle games for Nancy Drew, yeeeeeeesssssss!
So is Linda a werewolf?
"can you imagine having a wallpaper of yourself" bruh people do that tho oof😂😬
Gab is just out there roasting people
Rewatching this for background noise when I hear the part about the "bow-tie" rune being Othala at 33:21 .... that's... that's Dagaz.... "D"... they mixed up Othala and Dagaz...
Dudeeee you have no idea how excited I am for more Nancy Drew games from you! This one's gonna be great. Think you'll enjoy it.
Can't tell you how happy I was to see this game again!!!! I loved playing these games when I was a kid!!!
I was reading out the 'bling' 'bah' 'woop's with Evelien whilst she was going up the stairs, and was like "woah" at the same time when she came across those switches 😄
More, please you have to keep playing more of the classic Nancy Drew games. Brings back so many memories from when I played these with my mom
Also, as someone who spent thee first 31 years of their life living in London, that cockney rhyming slang is even beyond me. (Though I have had a few glasses of pinot)
