I loved this ship, but sience Jehovah's witnesses believes homosexuality is non existence, and if someone fells in love with the person of same gender, they are sinners and will go to hell. Neeta wouldn't even confess her love if there is any. She's the witness, who believes her job is to convert Jade and "save her". And that they should marry male witness. They can only be sisters. This is really sad, cuz Jade was lonely and only joined out of fear of loosing Neeta and going to hell. This is wrong. Cuz even if they would have a "pure romance", the head of congress wouldn't allowed them to be together. One would blame another for begin kicked out. If they would both be kicked out, it would be they're personal hell.
Exactly. I don't understand how a self-proclaimed "loving religion" can deny true love and affection if it's between those that merely share a gender. Jesus never said anything about being gay, you'd think if God really had a problem with it he would have made sure Jesus spoke up against it, but he didn't.
@@cococowboah Yeah because it's from old testament chapter book Leviticus and It has some questionable stuff like "justifying the killing of "gay" people and victim blaming, justification of slavery, and justification of killing people who are in relationship out of wedlock. Even Jesus knew something was off with this one chapter cuz he stopped Rabbis from stoning a woman, and well hate and killing in general?

I remember the episode where Neeta becomes frustrated that Jade is preparing for their bible study meetings, even though she is already busy with study for college. Neeta talks to her about it, and now Jade finds she also has homework assignments from God. I also recall that at a later stage Jade is now attending meetings in the Kingdom Hall. However, when she is called upon to give an answer, she finds she struggles to speak coherently. Ever willing, Neeta is on hand to help. Once they are back at their apartment, Neeta shows Jade how to get her tongue round a difficult passage. Not long after this, Jade gets her full baptism.
