I still prefer the old vocalist alot more as he had way better fry vocals and the albums he was apart of was when they didnt get weird with their image. Marcus is a amazing vocalist regardless though, just alot of people hold him accountable because he was part of when the band started doing alot more drastic changes. But the band still cant let go of the old as they still play the old songs.
@@Red1676 They can't and will never abandon their old material, as there are still fans like you who cling to the old regime of Northlane. I don't want them to forget the old, I like the old. But what they are currently doing, and most probably what's still to come, is game changing, honest and just ridiculously great. Marcus taking over vocals was not a mistake, he is one of the best vocalists our generation will hear.

@@WelcomeToMANTRA I miss the old stuff too much. To hear dream away played extremely weak is disappointing. The emotion behind the original song gets me so pumped up each time. A band I really like recently did an acoustic live show normally its very heavy music. But it still had the emotion and power behind it
@@aaron5222 gotta say out of all the times I've seen northlane with Marcus (5+ times) Dream Awake is only the song he has seemed to have not got down, doesn't suit his vocal style imo. But this acoustic version was amazing

Northlane should do Quantum Flux but Marcus version
Honestly when they closed with quantum flux on the alien tour I actually thought it was one of the weakest songs of the set. Marcus did such a great job on the newer stuff that they played before that quantum flux just didn’t hit as it once did. Not a bad thing though, it was one of the best shows I have ever been to

I loved every minute of this! it had me both laughing and crying. I've never enjoyed a live acoustic set more than this. I planned to listen to this again while working but I can't keep my eyes off it.

Nothing will ever compare, except maybe the next tour👀 I can just listen to the sound of his voice and fall asleep💕 I remember asking marcus about his nerves about releasing alien, and his response was that he had never been so nervous about releasing music because he put so much heart into alien. I resonate with literally everything they've ever made. He as a person I resonate with. That may sound weird but music connects us all. 💜
