I have Duster and my brother-in-law has Ecosport. He loves his car as it provides 6 airbags and is good to drive. I love Duster as it can sit 3 adults and one 8 year kid in back "sofa" seat and it's ride is supremely comfortable. Dusters downside is plain and old interiors and hard gearbox. Ecosports downside is cramp back seat.
One of the most important feature in any SUV (compact or large) is the 4x4 or AWD. Neither ecosport nor Creta (Excreta) provides this. Duster has tremendous ground clearance and 4X4 which is the true aspect of a real SUV.
Duster all the way. Comfort is most essential for long distance drives from Kolkata to Sikkim. I can say the same for those who travel to Himachal from Delhi/Punjab vice versa.
I am sorry. But EcoSport is no match to Duster. Duster is a segment in itself. City, Highway, Off Road...Name it and you get it. I have done 1.5 L km in 2016 Diesel Duster and there are many more to come.

Same. I am 6'4" tall, and the duster just felt very claustrophobic in there. Ecosport however, though having a smaller size, felt very comfortable and housing.
duster has better balance than eco sports i have both cars. duster is true suv . eco sports is a soft roader. At ghats dusters wide body has zero body roll. eco tall boy design makes it unstable at hairpins.
That's the reason I was disappointed. No dual airbags, ABS, EBD in lower trims. Such a disappointment. I could not buy the top trim. It costs around 11 on road. My budget was around 8.5-9 and wanted to buy a duster.

Absolute delight to drive. If you are looking for a compact SUV under 10 lakhs, then Ecosport is the perfect package. I booked mine and I will get delivery on 3rd Jan. I'm a Tata fan and had Tata car. I wanted to go for Nexon only. But after driving Ecosport, my perception changed. Out of these 3, Ecosport comes first, Nexon and then Brezza.

Ecosports is much lesser in terms of price and it is more affordable + more attractive and boxy in looks also it has a more refined engine than duster bcz of which it doesn’t produces much sound like duster. Cabin isolation of ecosports is mind blowing and it feels so silent inside. Driving terms ecosports is not only better than duster but all the other competitors like brezza, nexon, creta etc. anytime i’ll choose ecosports.

Overall I have spended nothing except dents painting and washing oil change yearly maintanence... I hit more than 70k per year... Monthly service - 750 or less... Mechanical expense after 75000km- 26000 .. It has a strong suspension and flat tyres alignment won't go off easily

Features can be added late but comfort or safety cannot compromises, waiting for new Duster which will offer better safety than current version, I have traveled and drew all creta Duster and ecosport, in comfort there is no comparison to Duster , that Duster seat where customised outside about 11k rs , but driving pleasure lil better in ecosport, Beauty was creta, Duster is practical enough for Indian family with wide seats and large boots

Dear Friends, don't go for the S variant of Ford Ecosport. The low profile tyres 50 size fitted in S variant create lot of jerks in journey through rough roads. I own this S variant just two months back. Now I am planning to dispose the vehicle since it do not render comfortable ride in off roads . But, the other variants including the new Thunder Edition of Ecosport have no such problems while in riding in uneven paths.60 sized tyre profile is the best matching for Ford Ecosport. Low profile tyre gives smooth ride only in good and even surfaced roads. In Indian conditions we cannot always expect such smooth roads. Remember friends, do not select S variant of Ford Ecosport even though it equips with lot of additional features than all other variants which may attract you much.
