No one is talking about the fact that this season we have THREE characters locked beyond a paywall: Jack and Sallie because you get them through the Golden Pass and Oogie Boogie because you need a lv.40 Jack to unlock him
Being someone who has played this game since Season 1, this will be my final Season before moving on from this game. This game unfortunately is not going to get any better as we seen Season after Season since the game became F2P, there's some small good things, but mostly bad things per each Season. For this Season, the some of the changes are unnecessarily: Getting XP only by completing missions and putting Regulated Multiplayer in Special Events. Gameloft is practically forcing players to now directly do missions in order to progress the Golden Pass, and that's unfair to those that prefer to take on missions casually. Ranked Multiplayer is still an unbalance mess given the overabundance of level 50 racers. Time after time is more and more difficult (practically impossible) to recommend this game for newcomers. I mean, how can you recommend this game to them? And feedback is honestly useless as Gameloft does little to make Speedstorm as good as it was before (I could make a passionate rant about feedback being useless). I was once very optimistic about this game improving and getting better, but I've reached my limit of staying optimistic for this game. If you saw the reaction of Season 10's changes in Speedstorm's Discord a few days ago, players aren't happy, and some were driven to finally quit and uninstall this game. It's sad honestly, for I believed this game had great potential of it being something much more. But, no longer. (if you disagree, let me know.)
So just this season: -We have reached the point where f2p can literally unlock only a single racer in a season because: 2 pass racers, tour racer locked behind pass racers, mid-season will at best be locked behind pass racers because GL never backs down on their decisions. No, Maleficent wasn't an improvement as they called it, it was just another trick. -The ranked was nerfed so it's not worth grinding anymore. -Regulated is slowly getting the local freeplay treatment, that is they're murdering it. -Whole progression got chore-ified as they shoved all exp into quests forcing more daily log-ins to do this...trash. Grinding hard since s4 yields no pay off, you cannot partake. Chapter 6 is still a huge road block and ultimately pointless because you need to buy pass anyway. It's a trap, I don't how the game is still holding despite all this. Positives? The track is absolutely fantastic...and that's it. :/
One change i do want to highlight is in chapter 6 (the difficult one) you need the character to BE at the level (if listed) to even attempt. So level 41 ms piggy for instance. if 40 you can't get in.
Ignoring the horrendous Season Tour changes I'm already sick of Jack's special. It's legitimately unavoidable since it spawns inside you when you're in first. I'd rather go up against Jumba, Sadness, S6 Eric, anyone really.
Having the Rare Racer be exclusive to the Hardest Chapter feels like a slap in the face, yet another change that will affect new players or F2P players. I can't be happy with the changes if they are constantly doing things like this

Disney doesn't have the rights. There was a big lawsuit after they were sued by the original author after they put him in Kingdom Hearts. With Whinnie the Pooh being banned in China it's also unlikely we'll see him.
New season also brought with it many bugs and glitches, at least for ps4. The daily treasure rush challenge is at the moment unplayable because of a huge framerate drop. Music glitch is back too, a minor nuiscance but very annoying still.
I saw the stream, hope you are ok. Also you mentioned about having to do 12 races as woody in ranked mp, you can just race as him or others that don't require multiplayer in the starter circuit first node as its one lap and should be a lot more efficient for completing that and other mission
I will say that maybe the whole removing xp from season races thing might not be that big an issue. I haven’t even done all the missions yet and I’m already level 21. If I did the math right you can get to level 33 by doing every mission available right noe
Hands down one of the best tracks in the game and the music for it is great too. Love the character additions including miss piggy. Drifted away during the pirates season but think ill enjoy this one. Just a shame so much is paywall hidden... day one player here and they need to keep exciting seasons coming with a reason for players to keep coming back
For the most excited for TNBC seasons is conquered all challanges and collect more shards for characters and upgrades, i'm so excited to play TNBC seasons.
This season is AWESOME!!! Great thing I watched the film on Tuesday and got an Xbox Series X arrived at my doorstep on Wednesday. This is going to be one EPIC adventure. Also, Miss Piggy is here! Looks like those codes from Season 9 were indeed hinting at the Mid-Season Racers and likely Season 11. If it is correct, we should expect Captain Hook to be the Mid-Season Racer for the second half of Season 10, and The Incredibles to be the theme for Season 11. The music for the new track is mwah! I love it!
So from now on... ALL players are fucked over in that extra chapter, LOL. Less rewards for everyone! Gameloft "listens to community" ... ahem Thats mad, that is crazy dumb to unlock a new racer.. I cannot believe people are still putting up with this mobile gacha garbage.. If you are addicted to Disney, rather go play Kingdom Hearts or any other game.. jesus.

I REALLY hope that the quest for Oogie Boogie is not the only way to obtain Oogie, that would mean only 1 free racer the whole season......

I love how they made all of the characters animations choppy to simulate the feel of stop motion.

Santa Claus not being playable makes this event 0 out of 10. I'm not sure how I feel about some of these changes.
