How about RL with commands? I thought of all contestants binding the same few commands to control their game... So everybody drives forward the whole game. For example "Need Boost" gives u 15 boost (that's still fair cuz of Cooldown). Then "I got it" makes ur car drive in the direction of the ball. "Great pass" makes the ball come to u or something. And some other Quick Chat Commands have other actions. Just think of something if u like the idea 💡😉

When you entered the dark room with the cars having headlight it made me think how cool it would be to playa normal game of rocketleague but in the dark with only the cars headlights to see
Leth I think you should revisit your portal concept but as a proper game mode. Standard rumble game but the players use the rumble button to shoot portals. Portals can go on any surface. Cars and the ball can go through any portal. Make it that you can shoot a pair of portals quickly to create a link but then the reset for the next pair is delayed for a bit so portals aren't moving constantly.
Psyonix should really invest into a system where custom maps are easily accessible and categorized. It's an amazing way to get yourself out of the grind of Rocket League. It'd make people way less burned out on the game because otherwise you'd just be doing the same thing over and over again. Take Team Fortress 2 for example. That game came out in 2007(!) but it still has a pretty healthy amount of private servers with the most ridiculous and fun custom games imaginable. I really hope Psyonix will create this for Rocket League as well, it clearly has a lot of potential.
