i played it first on normal mode.. platinumed it, then went on to replay in kurosawa. First play through, you're looking at a beautiful masterpiece of a game. In kurosawa mode, it's a beautiful masterpiece of a movie.

@@zeflr122 Harakiri isn't a Kurosawa movie. It's a masaki kobayashi movie. If you want to watch Kurosawa movies that were coloured then watch ran, kagemusha. His films from 1950s were much better though the ones in b&w. Rashomon, yojimbo, sanjuro, ikiru, throne of blood, red beard are some of the movies you can check
The only problem I have with Kurosawa mode is not being able to tell the difference between parryable attacks and unblockable attacks, but that’s not really a problem once you learn all of the movesets
Sucker punch needs to make more samurai games and scenic games like this. This game has to good of features for the technology not to be used again. The natural guide to objectives, the minimum hud with no compass, smooth combat, different cinematic modes, and super extensive environmental interactions are just a few of the amazing features this game brought to gaming. I am super excited to play on pc for the first time and with the ai enhanced lip sync for Japanese dialogue I think this will be a candidate for top 3 games of all time for myself. I hope there is a follow up or a new story from mainland Japan with a larger map and more extensive story.
Ghost on Tshushima is nothing like seven samurai. It actually tries to pay tribute more to yojimbo and sanjuro another two of Kurosawa films. Also the coloured mode also feels like a Kurosawa film. Watch his later movies like ran, kagemusha etc. Even the iconic opening scene will remind you of ran
I understand its a very artistic take but idk why anyone would want to use that.the beautiful vibrant colours are part of what makes ghost of Tsushima so good
It's harder for everything, since the game uses wind and color for a lot of hints. Since you can't see color and the wind is less evident, the game gets harder. But the sound work and filter is excellently done
