Awesome video of the LBJ Texpress lanes. I would love to see a road geek youtuber do a entire freeway tour of the DFW Metroplex driving on every freeway in the area from the exburbs to the exurbs and everything in between. I think that would make for awesome content for people that have never seen DFW's freeway network as a whole before.
Nice video- I have always been impressed with the Texas infrastructure and all over the years and I always love seeing the skyline of Dallas and downtown Dallas due to a TV show I love- Dallas- lol- and I just love seeing how impressive the roads there are despite most being toll roads- just is very impressive if you ask me!
Thank you! Texas infrastructure has definitely blew my mind away. As a Californian, I crave more of these Texas style interchanges and expansion projects!
@@InterstateKyle Not much chance of that in CA with the Governor we have... He's even been against expanding some roads from 2 lanes to 4 because it would "increase capacity". CA 41 in Southern Fresno County, the Olancha Bypass on 395, and a few others have been delayed due to that attitude, unfortunately.
Great video series! Next time you're in the area, check out the stretch of the Tollway between LBJ and George Bush. It's pretty curvy with a lot of elevation changes which isn't common for major urban highways. Unfortunately, the best time of day to drive it is between 2:00 am and 4:00 am when there's no one else around.
Final road video to entirely take place in the Lone Star State. But the season must go on as we head into Oklahoma in the next video. The Texas videos will be the highlight of this season that's for sure.
Absolute worst highway design ever. Overly confusing, left lane exit ramps (seriously, wtf is that), left lane ALWAYS trying to force you onto that stupid toll expressway, u turn lanes (?), multiple mile high overpasses, lanes suddenly becoming "exit only"with little to no warning, horrible signage, and some road that runs parallel to the highway on the right side. Warning to anyone visiting the DFW area, if you've never been here before, UBER. This place is a driving nightmare. Barring that I do love DFW 😊.
Wow, absolutely incredible! I just love the different 'layers' this expressway has!
I love Texas, keep making the awesome videos down there! 😀

The stretch on DNT from 35E to 635 should have been paid off a long time ago, but surprisingly (sarcasm), it hasn't.
I don’t miss driving in any of that. I was on the construction crew doing the High Five project.
Also, they plan on extending the DNT all the way up to US 82 near Sherman/Denison within the next decade.
Nice video of the lbj express lane and the Dallas north tollway
Thank you!
Dallas is a weekend Summer Vacation, at Brunch...

Good one! Never been on the DNT, and it seems like it has that late '60s feel to it.
So, going north... 35 up to OKC or 75 towards Tulsa?

I agree and thanks for tuning in! :)
We need to meet up someday!
Miss your videos seems longer and longer between lll

$350 million per mile? Tell me this wasn't a government project.
