If you ever get tired of being a flight attendant, you should become a professional travel buddy. lol I'm terrified of flying, but if I flew with you, you could distract me and make me laugh and your positive energy would make the flight go by quickly. Plus, you could calm me down every time the plane makes a noise because you know that the noises are normal. lol Safe travels!
Your right it is hard work but their is much worse, mim wage job with no benefits no vacation , many have to work 2 part time jobs both no benefits and no vacations working 55 hours a week between 2 mim wage jobs. Thats truly paying the price These people are so burnt out they retire early even if they are lucky to make it without cancer or other illness. No vacations takes a toll. Some Mim wage workers would love to have the flight attendant job travling and working less hours and getting their staycations. (staying at home vacation)

I just took my first flight at the age of 32 last month with them and enjoyed it and I'm actually going again this coming up Tuesday October 4th with American Airlines. I'm going to San Antonio, Texas. I have to go from Greensboro North Carolina to Charlotte North Carolina, Charlotte North Carolina to Dallas Texas and thenDallas Texas to San Antonio Texas. Weren't those new uniforms responsible for hives and allergy issues for some people? I know you can't really come out and say what your experience was cause it would "reveal" your airline, but I could not imagine the discomfort.
Do you have to be senior to get international flights Stella? I work on a regional and someone who just went over to American from us said she will "never get those trips".
Fly With Stella I am completely bilingual (English, French) and fluent in German. I applied as a bilingual French FA and just got asked to a training session. I haven't asked yet: Does this make it easier to get international work as a FA on reserve?
