No doubt the 6.8 is finally getting a base following and deserves support. Marketing will always be there and despite the powder shortage the 7prc is certainly a worthy competitor. It's a shame so many people buy in to hype and neglect other strong contenders. I love my 30-06 and for years I've done the ballistic comparisons and nothing has blown my mind, the 7mm rem mag came close but wasn't enough for me to justify and the 28 Nosler was my personal favourite,but in Australia it was near impossible to get any ammo and reloading gear. . When I saw the 6.8 I was instantly engaged. Living on an island at the bottom of the world I thought damn it's another one I'll never be able to have but after searching turns out my.local shop had heaps of ammo and could order me one no problem. I've thrown my hat in now and look forward to playing with it. Thanks for the updates and let's most certainly #save the 6.8 western!

Save The 6.8 Western. It’s slowly coming around. Several high end rifle manufacturers producing some very nice rifles, ADG brass coming available soon, a slightly larger bullet selection and we’re basically there.
We really need another quality budget rifle manufacture like CVA, Savage, or Ruger to really help the sales of the 6.8 Western. As far as ammo manufacture, I’d love to see Federal get involved as well.
I have been using 4831sc for my 6.8 Western, but want to try N570 and Staball HD. I'm not sure what powder is used in the factory ABLRs, but I still get very close to box speed with a 20" barrel. Thanks for sharing!
This round is so efficient. I just had a conversation with a viewer of one my other videos. He has the 16.5" suppressor ready version, and he's still getting over 2800 fps. That's amazing! Thanks again for watching!
Been having good velocity and groups with Magpro powder in my 6.8 Western. I would also like to mention the 7mm SAUM, which is virtually identical to the 6.8 and gets better velocity than the 7 PRC.
About a week ago I saw Winchester 6.8 Western unprimed brass in stock at two different online suppliers. That is the first time I have seen it available in ages - I thought Winchester had stopped offering it as a component. Any good news for the 6.8 is good news, right? The way I see it, the 6.8 Western gives very similar performance to the 7mm prc but in a short action platform. Either one is awesome - I hope both cartridges become very popular and successful.
