Thank you. So many times I’ve been on a job site with a pocket full of walnuts and nary a nutcracker. Now I have options.

I really like and watch your sharing attentively, it helps me a lot in home repairs, thank you
You know what's really useful when you have a welding helmet? Taking a torch to it so you have a shinier welding helmet. Seriously, that one was utterly useless, like most of these.
The cost of the rebar alone for the improvised sanding block would be enough to buy at least two sanding blocks from the store.
Cool, an oil filter turned into a micro-stove to crouch down to the ground and hinder your breathing so you can warm your hands while inhaling carcinogens and carbon rather than: rubbing your hands together; putting them in the pockets of insulated clothing; or using an activated charcoal hand-warmer.
Oohy, a stylus to mark the center of small boards so you can rip them into ones half the height or width because either the place you got your lumber from was out of stock, or you just didn't think to buy the right material the first time.
4:22 That's a crappy soldering job.
Oh boy, removing the metal strip from a face mask to bind your tool cordage with because you can't afford a box of twist ties from the dollar store.
Yes, the Allan wrench attached to a lighter so you can increase the force need to flush a toilet, very useful. As is a couple pounds of nuts and washers on a bolt attached to a keychain so you can wear out your vehicle's ignition switch even faster!
Aw, the ever handy destroyed saw blades made into giant tweezers so you don't have to sort your disorganized box of crap with your bare hands.
Using your caulking gun to crack walnuts, because you get walnuts in the shell but not a nut cracker, and it's easier to crack nuts outside with your caulking gun, a board, and a pair of saw horses than it is to throw them against a hard surface.
Use a fork, or a number of these other crazy ideas, to hold nails and screws rather than your hands. Because you couldn't buy a hammer with a nail setter or hold the nail without breaking multiple bones in your hand because you suck at tapping and paying attention.
You can also smash your nuts using a hammer and a box-end wrench.
Yery good 👍💯❤🏆🤝

L,
You forgot more wood filler, even more wood filler, and still even more wood filler.
Covid touch, so funny name 😂😂😂

nice tips.
With your hands and your mind everything seems simpler. Thank you for the great ideas
Never use heat on plastic to make it look new again you are just pulling out what's left of the moisture that's left in it so when it dries out again it starts flaking and breaking

When the walnut was cracked.. It really felt as if I was watching an old "documentary" with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. What's next! Ohhhhh!!!
Good times!

A few of these are pretty clever. The rest I've done myself over the years. Necessity is the mother of invention.
*This video is like parkour* , in that you’re taking the most circuitous route to get from A to B. You could take the stairs like a normal person, but that’s not nearly as exciting as doing a double backflip off the 3rd floor. High risk, practically zero reward.
4:26 For a second I thought he was going to glue an eraser to the end of the pencil.
My cat just jumped in my lap to check on me cause I was laughing so f-ing hard.
Клёво👍👍, много чего дельного, но и есть не к месту
И да, забыл. Что бы сделать кронштейн, то нужно купить лобзик, перфоратор, гриндер, шурик и естевственно токарный станок.....
I laughed out loud at most of this... the vast majority of these "tips and tricks" would NEVER be used by a professional. Many of these ideas take far more time to make than they would ever save someone with even a half a clue about what they were doing.
Hahaha yes indeed. I honestly think this is just trolling and the guy behind the camera is wetting himself. That wooden sanding wheel at the end....lmfao. 🤣

No need to be condescending gentlemen, the guy doesn't claim to give pro tips. I can imagine with 10 million + views he has a nice little extra income so seems to me he has the last laugh.
@@helenavanmaanen6733 Exactly, which is why there is no problem whatsoever with me having a laugh at laughable content, I get amusement, whomever makes this tripe, gets a paycheck. Win, win.
If you are in a SHTF scenario, these might be useful. Granted. I'd just get what I need at a hardware store. But if there is no store, well...

Best hack for an N95 mask was bread tying the jigsaw cord up lol
Using old drill bits as centre pops is extremely dangerous. Many eyes have been lost when they shatter. Fit for purpose centre pops are only hardened at the point

I have use them but don't grind then to point. Just use them to nail.
Don’t do it
Lol yeah every time I watch videos like these I think..
"where's the accident book cos someone's gonna need it!". 😂
ahh just grow another set of peepers.
That's awesome, now I know 37 ways to spend more money making a crappier homemade version of the cheap simple tools I could buy🤷.... Just so I can achieve that crack house junkyard look I've been going for at home👍
You can save money and use old items.
@@nesthi time IS money...and poor quality tools lead to damages that also cost money
Sadly, other countries need this kind of "life hacks"
Must be nice to just be able to go out and buy whatever you need. A lot of us viewers can't do that because we don't live in the U.S. where there's a Lowe's/Home Depot in every city. I'm not saying these sorts of videos always have the best solutions, I'm just saying think before you press send. Sometimes we have to find other options and be resourceful abroad in ways you obviously don't have to worry about.
@@changedavis4306 shut up social justice warrior, You're just virtue signaling to let everybody know You're a victim..... Even if you can't go to a Lowe's there's still much better ways of making the things in the video

If there only was a way to sharpen my pencil without a Powerdrill.
Uh there might be something out there for that purpose. I may have the name wrong, but my 3rd grader calls it a FREAKIN PENCIL SHARPENER

Спасибо. Хорошая подборка.
Brilliant ideas
Someone has too much time on their hands to waste . Such as that board sander with the handle you made . It cost you just as much if not more in parts and materials plus all the time to make one , you can buy one cheaper ! And in different lengths with better handles and sandpaper clips !! Sometimes you have to remember that time is money too . Expecialy if you can buy it cheaper and better than to make it .
you are right, but what about people like myself who live out in the country, and are in the middle of a project at 2 am working in there garage there $200.00 sander quits and they want to get this project done...i would think that this is why these type of video's are made to give a person a quick alterative to fix or complete a project...I call it thinking outside the box..
You do seem to have too much time on your hands to write an pointless essay on someones video
It's an education as to what's possible with minimal effort.
Takes time to put a video like this together, I know nothing about video editing, besides that point it seems like a lot of work to put something like this together 👊
I would like to know if you have made anything at all .. I know people with no inclination for work like this .. perhap with no natural skill in doing it .. they always find ways to discourage such effort so that their comfort zone is not disturbed
@@magicnier211 I've made much more stuff and much more complex things than you could imagine which all have been a great success . The stuff in a video like this is just a working man's common sense to finish the end of something you're almost done with .
Nice tips 👍

“Why are my tools all beat up?”
“IDK, have some more walnuts”
I must remember the oil filter hack when I’m out in Siberia in the hills.
Finally a good use for a surgical mask aside from surgery 👌
Very interesting
Just spent 10 minutes of my life that ill never get back and am now dumber for watching😁
Love it apart from the glove ?
I’m watching this video because you didn’t say the tips were “on another level”.
Ý tưởng sáng tạo rất hữu ích
Some of these are pretty helpful. Others... Why? You're creating more work, or making this more complicated
When I was a kid I tried to make a fan out of a coffee can lid and I put it on the shaft of a motor inside a cardboard box and powered it on at the kitchen table and it came off and went straight for my dad. Might have cut him a little bit if I remember. Thought back on that after watching a little of this video. But what else you gonna do in former Soviet Bloc nations? Might as well try to be a youtube sensation.
Your brain has many storage areas and a low key hack might come through as apart that has other origins.

Wow you discovered a bread tie
It's gotta be the orange and blue gloves
It is cheaper to buy over half of the actual tools then it is to waste your time doing these tricks.
👌
Awsome
You really need a sharper drill bit... Maybe you can come up with a hack for sharpening tools
Using a fork as a nail holder is going to be my new preferred method when hammering roofing tacks.
Yes sir
If that's the case, you shouldn't be doing it 🤣
So - you think grinding an un-emptied oil filter and using your hand as a drilling clamp are ok??? Some interesting and mildly useful tips, but please try to take more care.
🤙🤙👏👏
You seem to have an illegal amount of 150 grit sandpaper and dowels kicking around. Dude just buy a palm sander already. 🤣🍺 Thank you for sharing these interesting and useful ideas.
Murkins have a 20 hp palm sander for each grit. Ditto belt Sanders.and grinders. And buffers. Plus another five tools missing chuck keys, damaged cords. It's the hallmark of a pro to not have a single extension cord with a ground prong on it

Молодец !!!
Best use of a mask I've seen in the past 2 years
😊👍👍👌👌
I feel like these hacks are for people who shouldn't use tools
Lots of nice tips here. I just wanted to point out that the jigsaw/ reciprocating saw tip with the masking tape might be slightly misleading. On most of these tools there is a dial that allows you to choose how aggressively it cuts by changing the blade from going straight up and down to in a mildly circular motion meaning it chews into the wood in front. Yes, the tape helps, but I am pretty sure that in the video he was using the aggressive setting first without the tape then the fine cut setting with the tape which made the difference in quality between them really extreme. If you want to cut fast, go aggressive. If the finish of the cut matters or you are trying to work accurately and turn tight corners, make sure the blade is in the setting where it goes straight up and down first and cut slowly and carefully as well as using the tape!
The speed of the blade in orbital motion won't stop you from splintering the kerf or veneer, the tape ( masking) is a very good method, or cut the wood from underneath with the saw, same result pretty much.
I just use down cut blades.
Lots of riding

I've been in the building trade for 40 years and love to innovate little tricks like these. It's the difference between getting the job done or failing. Liked the hinge and Stanley blade hack. Will use that one someday I'm sure :-)
The tweezers were probable my favorite. Always need em at some point never have em. The hacksaw/disposable knife was kinds cool iv pounded them into wooden dowels but nothing to keep around.
I’m pretty sure the little “stick figure” key chain fob was the “Most Useful” thing I saw him make!

Wow, 2 or 3 of these are actually not totally useless.
Great tips/ hacks, Thanks for the videos. The only one I didn't get was the lighter & Allen key, I would be grateful if someone could explain. Cheers 🍻👍
It was a tool to open doors and flush toilets without touching with your hand. Then light the lighter to "sanitize" the tool.

Some helpful things for sure. I've no idea of what the end result at 7:56 is though ... a little bolt man to hang from your keys?
Ya like a little guy I'm guessing lol
That's the one where i paused and was hoping more than just a key chain- its more of a craft then a tip/trick
Thank you i learn some new idea from you
