You really should NOT be buying them for the random cards but there are a lot of structure deck cards that pop up in them in particular and a lot of them don't get reprinted so unless they're new their value usually is higher. Then you have other cards which just happen to be good or become good later which they don't seem to pay any attention to. It's like they look at the top hundred cards on YGO prices and everything else can go in the junk pile.
I'm pretty sure that super, ultra, and secret rare all weigh the same. Ultimate is the only different weight to my knowledge. That's why they introduced holo in every pack and removed ulti to eliminate pack weighing for main sets

I saw someone selling a blazing vortex pack on etsy for $14... a singular pack. It's like what $2 on tcg player. It's this behavior that ruins yugioh for people. I just don't understand why people act like this.
Can't really weight new Core Booster sets, because they all contain a super the weight difference is minimal. Also Blazing Vortex is not mapped like the previous sets.
I find the dollarama packs are actually pretty good. Cus you always pull at least a $1-$2 card and its cost like $1.50. But the rest are trash for sure.
Since BLVO you can't tell super rares and ultra rares apart by weighing, some super rares are actually heavier than ultra rares (speaking from experience with european packs). So the only thing that can't be weighed are the secret rares (but also not 100% anymore).

The funny and STUPEDIST thing about you opening up the Limited Edition Packs is, not about you. It's about the people selling this stuff; they saw that Walmart was limiting how many people are taking Yugioh Cards Home with them, and buying them to potentially scalp off of them somewhere on the web. That store saw this opportunity, AND DELIBERATELY jacked up the prices for them, knowing people would buy them at double the value, if it means getting Yugioh Cards they want. The worst part about it is, they are all WEIGHED. The worst part is, they HAVE to weigh their products like this!!! Otherwise, they'll get a fine for not weighing all their products!!! It's part of working at a grocery store/gas station place like that, that's small business! They HAVE to weigh this!!!!! Even when buying groceries, they have to weigh it, to see how much you're paying-- Some places won't even allow you to, or have a scanner to scan them, so they weigh them for the price, then YOU have to pay that price, according to what was weighed!!! IMO, it's a Bullshit Scam. Please don't fall for this again, man. Its not an actual scam but they aren't good products either. It's obviously repackaged stuff people couldn't sell quick enough and are not worth holding for a buyer. The question is should they advertise potential resell prices or should people have more than just a couple brain cells.
