- Edit: Eventually I found out some things about this company that I didn't like. If you are shopping for a bunker I'd recommend you shop elsewhere. I did buy a bunker, but not from this company. I left the video up because my kids are super cute and I want to keep this memory from when they were little.

Bomb shelters are usually surrounded in concrete when they are set. A 50 bmg will not pass hardened concrete.

TBH I'm thinking get the big one for him and Mere, two of the small ones for the kids to have their own rooms and apartments as they get older, and have them connected via tunnels and free-floating culvert pipes so that if they shift and settle they don't rip a hole in the side of the bunker straining the welds or bolts.
You could bury it at 42 feet and then stack another one on top of it, possibly a triple stack. No one would ever expect a second one under the first one let some a third one.

Our newest video showing the product..... From the bunker of the bunker brands. Mat and crew are clearly a pretty savvy business group. They aren't thinking about bunker for just fun, rather they think "well this might make some business sense to build the brand image". Plus if nothing else, it is a stable temperature storage closet to keep stuff in. Earth berming is pretty good way to storage stuff as long as one keeps the moisture under control and doesn't build it in a flooding piece of land and takes care of drainage.
