    thats very nice job well done , something to consider the pants and shirt if you go with the airbrush and add some matt varnish it will look less uniform ,ideal is to have the gloss effect on the Leather parts like the jacket and flat on the fiber made details ,again is something minor but it looks much better in my opinion !

    Did you do another sealer after you did the beard?

    • @TheCreativeCollector

      Yes. Otherwise when you handle the head the pastels will smear.

  • @stevend2588
    @stevend2588 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Fantastic job!! You make me wanna ditch my Kobra Max for high detail models like this and get a resin printer

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why not do both? A lot of people print the bases with FDM and resin for the figure. I do that sometimes myself.

    • @stevend2588
      @stevend2588 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCreativeCollector Yeah the fdm would be perfect for the lesser detailed parts, it’s just the figure I would really want to do in resin. Because no matter how dialed in I get my Kobra I know I’m not ever getting that level of detail. Any solid recommendations for a resin printer?

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look into the Elegoo Saturn or Linant Base printer. Those are bot hgreat choices and plenty of build plate for bigger models.

    • @stevend2588
      @stevend2588 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCreativeCollector Thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely pull the trigger on one of those! Saw your tutorial on resin printing so I should be printing great in no time

    Henry, any tips on painting black leather, should I still highlight it with greys? Or just glosscoat it to give shiny black leather, I’m working in a cenobite from Hellraiser, lots of black leather

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would reverse the process. Lay down the black and accent it or dry brush with browns.

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome and thank you for subbing! So i get most of my models from Wicked3D or other patreons. This Indy model came from Sanix. There are a lot of 3d print forums online and most of the artists display their work on there. PLus, I usually have links in the description to those artists.

    Would you all agree with me that, Harris Ford has to be one of cinema greatest action stars of all time and one of the greatest actors of alltime 😊 make a second one for him to honour him and the character he was born to play.

    Hi, can I ask what is the paint number used for the flesh colour, and the shirt and Jacket please? Sorry if I've missed it.

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The flesh color was a mix of my own and the jacket was a brown leather from Vallejo. The shirt was a mix of Iraqi Sand and off white from Vallejo.
