    the trick with liquid mask is to brush it on like you would if you were painting so you get good clean edges, also add a second coat as you're applying it, thicker the coat the easier it peels off but takes longer to dry, thin coats tend to crumble off as you try to peel

    Very well done! I love the techniques you used in order to get the effect you were looking for. I especially love the weathering and scratches on the gun.
    The hyper realistic looks so much better than the "fake" reflection in the eyes. I can't wait to paint now.

    Great work. The Punisher has always been my all-time favorite Marvel character. I have a soft spot for anti-heroes. Jon Bernthal made a perfect Punisher. He took a beating to the point of near death, and he kept on getting up. Personally, I thought the movies didn't capture the true essence of the character. Jon brought out the true raw essence of Frank Castle. It would be cool if your figure came with the option of using Jon's head on the torso.

    When dry brushing I don’t use a paper towel but a glass pallet. In addition it is good to have your dry brush somewhat moist. NOT wet just a little damp. The dry brush results are amazing and that little bit of moisture eliminates the dusting effect dry-brushing is notorious for. Let me know how it works for you. 😊

    Hello. I just found your channel and subscribed to it. I love the content, and you're easy to follow, which is good because I have the most difficult time painting skin tones. I can weather a model like there is no tomorrow, but then lose it when it comes to the skin tone. Then the model looks faker, then it already is. I keep trying to find someone who can show me in person how to paint skin tones with no success.
    Thank you for the easy to follow and awesome content.

    Dude, I hate masking, as same as you, and as same as I mentioned you in any past video.
    However I bought a national, and non expensive mask, and the creator gave me these tips that helped me a lot:
    1) Make sure the mask edges are thicker than the fill.
    2) When removing the mask, make sure you don't pull it up, to avoid ripping the paint, instead pull it to the center of the mask.
    3) If you can cut the mask in the edges when removing it, it's better, to also avoid ripping the paint.
    However, I still continue supporting your decision of throwing it to the thrash can XD

      If I have to handle it or if it's a large painted area I don't want to get dust or trash on it before it's permanently sealed. Plus it helps with washes and if I screw up something minor, I can just wipe it off.

    Seems like you just wanted to check the boxes to get this done. The techniques displayed are 100 but the attention to what your painting isn't. The ammo is off the battle belt mag pouches and molle gear the bag is carried on are not leather they are cordura and the gloves have a hole in the back where skin is visible. I really hope youtube hasn't ruined your love for painting. Or maybe I'm an ass and you were simply showing techniques while not caring about accuracy then I'm sorry. But your so skilled that stuff like that bums me out. When I was teaching tattooing I was always telling them to understand what your tattooing and what the line I'd before you commit to the line. I always have reference pictures handy for just that stuff. Much love no hate just a little cc.

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well I appreciate the feedback. Let's me know you watched the video and I appreciate that. However, while you're right...you're also a little wrong. I'm not sure what you're talking about the ammo being wrong, but they are brass casings. The bags on the front belt ARE cordura, and they are brushed grey over the black to simulate the fabric, and I also put a little brown because I wanted them weathered a bit....or dirty. The side bags are leather. The bag on the back is cordura and is drybrushed grey over the black to highlight the bag itself. It's not painted to be leather. The gloves are barbury tactical gloves and don't have an opening for the skin; unless you want that swollen puffy look to his wrist. It's indeed a closed glove. I pay special attention to these things, and while I can't please everyone, this pleases me. And no; TH-cam hasn't ruined me and I don't rush my paints for the sake of putting out a video. If that was the case, I'd just do videos showing you how to paint rocks or something like that for the sake of getting out videos on a scheduled time, but I don't. And even in tattooing, which I have a few myself, I can easily pick apart a tattoo as well. Nothing's perfect my friend, and that's what I tell everyone who watches this channel. Print and paint it to suit YOUR needs and wants. But I welcome the criticism. It helps me get better. Thanks again for watching the video, and hopefully next time my painting is up to your standard.

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries at all man. I just felt like I needed to explain what I was going after on the model. A lot of these things are subjective and people can put their own spin on things to appease them. I try my best to have fun with it and not turn into the "business" minded person who wants to pump out videos for the sake of doing so. I see to much of that. When I stop having fun with this, then I'll quit making videos. Right now I enjoy the process and having people tell me that I helped them in some way, so for that I appreciate it.
