Hi there, beautiful video ! Thank you fo sharing your experience. Small question, were you able to get transportation from your Hotel to the park when you purchased your tickets online ? Do htey pick from any Hotel, were are going to the Wyndham Maya. Many thanks for your comments ! Cheers
My wife and I went there 30+ years ago. It was very rustic with no amenities except a couple of bath rooms. The only way to the River mouth other than walking was an old Farmall tractor pulling a hay wagon. We tossed our inner tubes on the wagon and piled on. We had a wonderful time and it’s great to see the have flourished.
@@RickRackTravels - No doubt, that is a beautiful area! I too would like to return, but I am also 30+ years older. Stranger things have happened! Enjoy!
Loved your video of Xel-Ha, brought back memories of when my husband and I were there. They call it a lazy river but I remember it being a lot of paddling once you got through the mangroves, not so lazy, lol. Your video makes me want to go again.
Haha yes we agree the lazy river was definitely not so lazy. We swam with our floats for the last stretch as the paddling didn’t seem to be moving us along lol. Aw that’s great you want to go back. It is a beautiful place. Thanks for watching and your comment 🥰
Hi Nikkie, the park is mainly based on water activities, however life vest are mandatory and there are lots of lifeguards on site. There is no need to worry about not being able to swim.
Well the park itself is the waterpark.it is all very natural. So there are some extra activities (not included in admission) but otherwise what we showed are the main activities. You can check out their website for more details
Aw thank you. Admission was approx $95 USD but if you book online in advance you can get substantial discounts. As a permanent resident of the state of Quintana Roo (with ID) you can receive 50% off. Considering it is all- inclusive, and a beautiful park it is great value. Thanks so much for watching
Yes approx $95 usd for admission but if you book online in advance you can receive further discounts. We paid approx $47 usd as permanent residents of the state of Quintana Roo. It is a beautiful park and considering it was all inclusive we felt good value. Thanks so much for watching Anna
No doubt that being near the water is good for your mind, your soul your whole body! That where I want to be! Oh! and the food! " You always have to feed something tasty to the body, so that the soul wants to stay"
