My brother Stanley, used to go to this school , between about 1950 and April 1957. We lived in Bebington outside Birkenhead Wirral Merseyside. My dad used to take turns with another dad in going and returning Stan and another lad over the weekends. The other lad lived in Arrow Park. They used to have a projection B/W television. My father an electrician at Camel Laird shipyards, repaired it once. I believe the school was co educational but separated . I went over there many times and we have a few pics of the sports days.

ive still got the video inside before the fire 2010 ish when the last Dance Parties were ran at night there,,and top of the clock tower,,good tunes played there

It's a shame that these places get trashed, no one does no damage just recording history, nice buildings just get left its sad because these building need someone to record in a very respectable way.
What a fukin waste of building too many on the streets.
What a lovely gaf shut that must of cost well loads in the past.
Kids were just doing chilling.
Nice one clarky.
That could of been rescued surely.

This type of place has had its day. Kids need somewhere near home and of a manageable size. Think things may have gone too far the other way and some kids find it difficult to get support and a sense of community. Needs to be choices not a one size fits all approach
