A brilliant idea surrounding a part of Venice in a gold frame!!! I love it!
I love the gold too. It looks vintage.
Love this faux postcards idea, so many possibilities!
Tina, I love ❤ this project. Great way to use travel books to create amazing things for travel journals of vacations. By the way, you can clean your blocks using nail polish/varnish remover. I've cleaned many things that have gotten ink on them using it. Also cheap hairspray will help remove ink with a bit of extra hard rubbing. Then you won't need to purchase new blocks so often. Happy crafting ❤.
Tina , love the idea of those postcards.
Great idea. They look fabulous.
Wow! I love these! Great idea! Thank you for sharing 🤍
Love your faux post cards and I agree with you the gold is always so beautiful I have the silver, bronze, & some colors as well but the gold is always my favorite to use its so pretty against anything I've used before. The time had went by so fast, when you said, I hope you like them I had to check the time. I said Ms. Tina can't be done yet she just started. Thanks for sharing must get that beautiful book you shared & more postage stamps, stamps. 💖💗
Brilliant! I love this look with the images, post cards and gold embossing.
Hand sanitizer or alcohol will clean your stamp block.
Pretty post card!
Beautiful faux postcards, enjoyed watching❄☃
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
These are so great! I love how they turned out 😊💜
Love them so beautiful 😍
These came out beautifully!
I just love the dichotomy between your rather clean and tidy room, your elegant personal attire and make up, and your desk, and things on it. ::)
You
You can clean those blocks with acetone which is fingernail polish remover
Wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing this idea - will work perfectly for my watercolors.
I love them! The gold embossing really takes them up a notch! Can't wait to try them! Thank you for inspiring!
Love this project. You created some gorgeous postcards!
Tina, these are just so darling. What a perfect project. Perfect for a mass make. Can't wait to try this myself!!
PS - this is a great idea! Totally gonna do this one!
You are brilliant! Fantastic idea. Hugs and blessings, ❤️🤗🇨🇦
I keep a wet baby wipe at hand when I'm stamping to wipe my block off. It's so easy, and doesn't keep the stamps from sticking. If I didn't keep it easy, my block would be messy, too!😂 beautiful and inspiring project, thank you! 💕
I love both of these postcards so much! 🌸
You should do a live chat. Those are fun.😊 The postcards are lovely.
This was so fun!!
I love that gold embossing, Fabulous postcards tfs Tina❤
These are totally awesome love the final results. I'm starting to collect books for images and pages myself. ❤
Love this idea . I’ll be making some of these today. TFS Tina. Have a great day!
I’ve just gotten some books that will work perfectly for this idea! They were so pretty that I couldn’t pass them up even though I had no clue what to do with them. What wonderful timing! Tfs and Merry Christmas. 🎄
I think your missing stamp is on the lid of your midnight blue stazon. Love this idea!!! And I have a lovely Paris book to use for this. 💕 Oh nevermind, you found it! Yay!!
Lol, thank you Binkie for spotting my stamp. Have fun with your version of this with your paris book xx
Your faux postcards are a wonderful idea and the gold looks amazing. If you invest in new stamp blocks, you might want to invest in stamp cleaner as well to help you clean off the new blocks after using them.
Fantastic project!
You can easily clean your acrylic blocks with a baby wipe, no need to replace them. If you do it quickly after using it, any ink on there should come right off.
Beautiful Tina ❤Huge HUGS! Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
I love this project. So pretty!
Invest in stamp cleaner and a scrubby white cleaning. I shared with you years ago both of them. Save your money on buying extra stuff.
I love gold embossing also. It takes your project to the next level. Your faux postcards are beautiful, Tina. Thank you for sharing. 🙂❤️
Very pretty!
What a GREAT idea! How fun! Can’t wait to try this. 😎😎😎😎😎😊. Tina, maybe try cleaning your blocks with rubbing alcohol before you instead buy new. Not sure about Stazon ink because I don’t use it, but rubbing alcohol (91% is best) works great for me (with a little elbow grease) removes permanent ink. 😁
Love it!
I haven't used my post marks for ages 🙈oh good book for postcards! Yes the gold is gorgeous 😍 lol yes the magic is cool. Lol you've never annoyed me dafty, never could. I'm editing today🙈 then maybe some rusting. The glossy page is perfect for postcards. I might have to have those stamps, need some other stuff from you too when I get some pennies 😁. Lol you're like me, I lose things while I'm holding them 😄. Lol naughty stamp hiding on the ink pad 🙊. They're gorgeous, I'm going to have to make some. I don't have glossy books but have some calendars and brochures I use for master boarding so bound to find something. Oh btw I LOVE my swivel stapler!!!!! Hard to press but awesome, SO handy lol. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Tina, I absolutely LOVE these!! I ordered all of the postage stamps from your website and can’t wait to make a bunch of these! Thank you so much for your amazing inspiration!! 👍🏼👏🏼😍
Thank you so much Theresa for your wonderful support, I really hope you love your stamps. Thank you so much for your super thanks, I really appreciate it and all your support. Happy Christmas xxx
I love this idea of turning the book pictures into postcards. I have to say though, Tina, I was cringing with you when you were stamping. I do hope yu buy some new stamp holders soon, that was painful. 😅
You did give me ideas! I don't have the gold powder but I do have gold metalic markers. I just mass made a bunch of postcards from book images but haven't embellished them yet. Perfect timing!
Love the idea of faux postcards, like always you have great ideas, thank you for sharing, big hugs. :)
Dear Tina,this is fantastic!!!❤
Thank you!!👍🍀🤗🇨🇭🙏
I have that postcard frame set, thanks for the inspiration
I was thinking it and you said it... I LOVE the magic of doing heat embossing! I don't do it often enough, but I have been doing it for years and I'm still amazed! 🤯🤯
😂🤣🤣😂 "HEY! It DID work!!!" You're so cute!
I love that post card stamp! You've given me all sorts of ideas! 🤔😏😁. Hugs, sweetie, and I'll see you soon, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
❤❤❤
I have a small collection of postcards from 1901-1908, and the gold edges on them are just like yours, what a beautiful recreation! Don’t apologize for your stamp blocks - means you use things unlike me who has just got tons but haven’t used things that much 😂
You can clean it 🧼 with stamp cleaner 🥰💜💜 it’s easy
These are FANTASTIC!! I can't wait to try it!
I've found that hand sanitizer cleans the ink right off my acrylic blocks. I wonder if it would clean the ink off your stamps???
I THINK you can clean your stamp blocks with alcohol. I have but used the 99% alcohol
❤️🇨🇦🎄🎅
