However, I don't know for sure if they did this in one take because even if they can manage their expressions, the physical positions are difficult to maintain without both actors possessing sufficient strength, especially the King. One slip and it'll mean another take.

@@estah97 it definitely felt low budget..and the ending was crazy. They actually had two endings which made no sense. I think the character development is better in the kdrama. In the Chinese version, you really didn’t get to know the “man” inside the woman. His time on screen was brief. We actually got a more in-depth backstory and his connection with his past is always there.
I know there's a confusion on whose instinct over took during their love scenes. But seeing that this was all Bong Hwan, you can't deny that he loved the king, especially in the ep 19 kiss scene
This scene is epic. If the Queen did not receive an award, i do not know what is wrong with Korean entertainent industry. I love the King he was soft, gentle, persistant and calm. The King deserved an award too
