Ditto! I had so much fun watching it. Although the end was a bit, just a bit, disappointing ...I really hoped for a re-encounter on this time frame...bit of a BL finish or even bromance... oh well...

To everyone saying Bong fell in love with the king, repeat 6:02 over and over. A guy being in a woman's body and her heart being head over heal in love with a guy would totally confuse the thoughts of the male soul. Bong staying inside So yong's body means experiencing what she is feeling, thinking etc..

My friend recommended this drama back in 2021 and I didnt want to watch it back then. After 3 years I decided to watch it since I didnt have good new kdrama to watch. Turn out my decision was on point. Now I cant stop watching it

This is truly one of the best dramas ever made. I've never rewatched a drama so many times. It's become one of my comfort series I like to go back to when life gets too much. If you haven't seen it yet, you totally should, you won't get disappointed ❤

What an absolutely delightful movie this is! The lead actress was phenomenal and the chemistry between the two leads was off the charts. Somewhat disappointed that the Queen seemed so docile at the end. A bit of her old cheekiness in the final scene would have been nice.

It kinda does. In the chinese drama king was in love with the man who was in the body of the princess. In one alternate endings of the chinese drama both the king and the man meet again. In the chinese novel too, king is in love with the man not the woman.

because that is still jang bonghwan in kim soyong’s body that drives the entire plot. the ending of this series in particular is trash and flushes all 19 episodes of progress down the toilet
