About Mr. Queen (철인왕후):
A male chef (Shin Hye Sun) has risen up the ranks to find a job cooking for the country’s top politicians in the South Korean presidential residences, the Blue House.
He is something of a dreamer - but one day finds himself in the body of a young queen from Korea’s past, Kim So Yong.
Kim So Yong’s husband is the reigning monarch, King Cheol Jong (Kim Jung Hyun). However, he is only king in name - the late King Sunjo’s Queen, Sun Won (Bae Jong Ok), has taken advantage of Cheol Jong’s better nature, and is ruling the realm in his name.
Queen Sun Won’s brother Kim Jwa Guen (Kim Tae Woo) also has designs on power.
However, Kim So Yong soon discovers that King Cheol Jong harbors secrets, and is not as gentle and meek as he seems…

I didn’t think the, “where’s my dragon!?” moments could be surpassed. Then we got this moment! Ignoring the amusing “ability to determine pregnancy through the mother’s pulse,” the shenanigans & these reactions were priceless!
Since an old lady told me, just by touching my hand and pulse, that I have stones in my kidneys and ovarian cysts, I can actually belive the scene (It was confirmed later with "regular" testings and doctors)

Well you can feel the heartbeat through the pulse and we basically determine pregnancy through heartbeats (mother has a heartbeat and so does the baby) so it's believable to me.
Oh boiiii this is one of the smoothest comedy kdrama..😂😂😂❤️❤️ you can go from serious to comedy in a flick and the transition is flawless ❤️ actors 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and the writer 🔥🔥

The “tragic” end was the director way of critizing china new censorship rule. Thats why you saw a beautiful touchijg scenary and suddenly asshole shows up to kill em.

@@sc80 The show had three endings. The first one had them leaving the palace to live their lives in peace but assassins found them and killed them both...they lie dying on a platform of roses. The other ending had the guy waking back up in his body (though I don't remember why he transmuted back) and running into a doctor that looked exactly like the Crown Prince and the show ending with them just staring at each other...BL ending maybe? The last ending was a bit of breaking the fourth wall - it showed the actors as actors on a set and the whole thing was just a drama...though I saw that one without subs so couldn't make out the details.

I agree, it is disturbing. It is worth mentioning that women of this era was suppose to sleep with their husbands whenever the husband pleased, and it wasn't considered rape. I would have liked to see Mr Queen talk about how our modern society would have viewed that incident, it could have been an excellent source of conflict for the characters.
For what it's worth, Mr Queen wants to bone the king now at least.
