I liked this "room tour" type of video showing all the common items you'd run into in real life but might not have thought to study. Very useful, especially with differences like ナイフ vs 包丁!

Very useful! An English friend is married to a Japanese lady and she decided on a house rule - the kitchen is Japanese speaking only - to help their two girls learn Japanese growing up. So my friend can speak fluent cooking Japanese and nothing else (his two girls are pretty fluent though I think). BTW, Miku sensei, I didn't realise you had never lived in an English speaking country - your English is super impressive then! It does explain though why your English is pretty much dialect free - every other Japanese YTer I can think of has a distinct English dialect, so I can pretty much identify where he or she learned their English.

I knew most of the words, but my memory is so bad that I forgot them 😅 I’ll have to study harder to not forget them 😔 Also, this video is very useful because you’re right, this kind of things are not explained, they explain how to speak in a formal way, like to give a speech, but not day to day words that would be a lot more useful.
