Thank you immensely. Not only do we get to learn new kanji, but we also learn so many wonderful phrases and sentences to speak in Japanese. Thank you for providing subtitles in both Japanese and English. We memorize them.
I took the pandemic very seriously, was one of the first to wear masks, got all three vaccines etc. But times have changed, the Omicron variant is a different disease than the original wild type. Here in Switzerland there are no regulations anymore and nothing happened to the hospitals. Life is like it was before the pandemic. Japan still banning all tourism and all people walking around with masks outside, starts to feel a little bit alienating. Anyway, thanks as always for the great content, really love these videos so much!! スイスから、よろしくお願いします。

My country in southeast asia now we dont even wear mask and act like pandemic was never happened here. We are now more concerned about oil price rise and inflation.
In Japan even before the pandemic, people typically wore masks anyway for cold and flu reasons etc…
Im guessing since Japan has some of the most populated cities, they need to take precautions with COVID by still wearing masks
Also its a good disguise for recording a TH-cam video if no one can see you talking under your mask

懐かしい！On my last trip to Japan I took the enoden! I took the wrong train when leaving Hase and had to get off at Gokuraku. It’s such a nice tiny station with a small creek running next to it. It was so relaxing I didn’t mind waiting for my train back to Kamakura.

関西の方(かた)だと江ノ電が「低高低低」(中高アクセント)になるんですね。首都圏では「低高高高」(平板アクセント)なのでちょっとドキっとしました。
かの琵琶湖もアクセントが違うと言いますね。

After many failed attempts at going on my semester abroad in Japan I was kind of burned out on learning the language, and seeing images and videos from Japan made me sad so I avoided them. But now I'm taking a Japanese class again and I think I have even more fun studying than before :) This video is so nice and relaxing, and I was so happy when I recognized some kanji and grammar.
