Great video! Obviously you were well prepared with both on-river views as well as shots from the shore. It's an impressive demonstration of the capabilities of the Kaboat, as well as your skill (and bravery.) Thanks!!!
Damn, an incredibly strong man carried a ton of rubber boat! Also, you are a brave man to go through a rapid whitewater river. You are a true American Hercule! Amazing!
Your video is exactly what I have been looking for. You pay attention to getting those good views and action! Thank you. Awesome! I live in Alaska and there are some beautiful rivers and bays around here to explore. I'd appreciate a little information on the type of camera you used for both on land and on the bow.Again, great videos!
@@BJPr12 yeah what he was doing was extremely dangerous and you could tell a man he had a very flimsy life jacket that water was very cold and Swift like some seriously dangerous stuff he was doing and he died
@@BJPr12 I'm serious about the long tail if you watch his videos he has a lot of prop strikes and it causes him to lose forward momentum and stops him a lot which is very dangerous and there's a couple times where he couldn't even start out one time he was almost stuck on an island because the prop of his Marine engine it's too deep and was striking rocks so we couldn't start off he put himself and very dangerous situations I'm surprised that boat was able to carry him and his gigantic balls
Fun Video, must have been a lot of fun to ride those rapids as long as you know your engine and vessel's capabilities. It looks really deadly to get in trouble on that river.
Great Video!! It shows what a remarkable boat this is........no other boat could do that.I have a standard 14ft. model that I just about completely wore out......looking to get the 13ft. XL model.I have built the best seats for these boats, relatively inexpensive and very comfortable.
What kind of seats did you build? These are light aluminum seats. Better than wood obviously for weight. Although these might not be as comfortable after awhile. I'm very interested in hearing from you
That is quite a boat! Most impressive! But the video is, perhaps, the strangest I have seen in a long time. First, you use an engine on whitewater (water flowing on rocks); then, when you row, you row the exact opposite way of how you should do that. I am sure you had fun; but, man, is that odd to watch!
I just bought this.....you make it look so easy to carry it....I don't know if I have become weak or if you're really strong, but this boat is heavy even without the aluminum seat, so I bought a dolly to carry it.
I was gonna say I think he has the XL edition they bigger kaboats and some of Saturn's other inflatable dinghies will hold up to a 20 horsepower outboard I think they might even have one really big dinghy that does up to a 30
The boat handles that river amazingly well, considering the fast rate of flow! Also the driver is pretty well skilled in moving water boat handling, which takes experience and know-how to do.
Hannu, look at this: th-cam.com/video/I_3KWmITa-U/w-d-xo.html SK470XL, transom lift 190 мм, PVC - interceptor, 210 kgs of load (two on board + 20 ltrs of fuel), 26 км per hr without plainwood plate under airdeck, draft of intake = draft of airdeck, moved forward air deck as far as possible (about 25-30 cm). We did it last night). 18 - 18,5 kmph at 5 lrts of fuel per hr and 23-24 kmph at 7,5 ltrs per hr.)
Regretfully no, jet units available for Yamaha - 9.9 (15) and SUZUKI - 20 only (including 4 strokes, 97 lbs). I was also seeking for jet unit Tohatsu - 9.8 without success. But, after our tests it seems that optimal engine for jet unit is 15 hp, in which case thrust is equal to propeller of Tohatsu 9.8 (the same speed under any load from 110 то 310 kgs).
i dont know about wearing waders. even with a belt and jacket that could be dangerous if you capsize. that being said looks like you are having supreme fun and i like to do shit like that lol
Yes man if you're looking to spend less than $600 and hit Whitewater like that you're asking to be in the Whitewater without a boat and Without a Paddle if you're looking into buying a boat friendly piece of advice treat it like an oxygen mask if you were to go diving and think about the same way if it breaks you could die now is it worth more than 600 I think so I feel like the kaboat itself last I checked is getting close to a thousand bucks and with the motor he's definitely up over a grand and I'm sure he's plenty happy for it I have bought and cheap inflatable boats and have them work great on flat water but I would never take them on a river like this
Great video! Obviously you were well prepared with both on-river views as well as shots from the shore. It's an impressive demonstration of the capabilities of the Kaboat, as well as your skill (and bravery.) Thanks!!!
He drowned doing this very thing sadly He should have had a longtail mud motor too then he wouldn't have had prop strikes and losses of momentum
Thanks for taking the time on this video. Was curious if I should buy one for inshore ocean fishing- no longer have any doubts 👍

You're lucky to have such a beautiful river to take your boat out on.

man did i enjoy watching this video!!!
Good stuff. The boat coped well with the rapids.
You’re very brave! That was some pretty rough water. What a great boat!
He actually drowned doing this very thing sadly. had he had a longtail he might of faired better as well
@@MudMotorsMax Oh wow, I didn't know.. may he rest in peace.

Excellent video, thanks for the show...looks fun!
Cold, misty and wet... to me that's perfect weather!!
Nice skill brother nice skills
@twlang03
Thanks. I use Panasonic HDC-SD900 on land and GoPro HDhero on the bow (with separate sound recorder).
How does it row compared to the kaboat? Nimple enough for smaller shallow water?
Hi, where did you bought the boat? There is a shop in Finland selling these? Which one did you liked more, the 430 or the 478? Thanks!
Awesome!!
You make look fun!
Beautiful river. Looks like it would be a lot of fun. How well has your boat lasted over the years? Thanks for the video.
Great video, thanks
Awesome!
Wow... I watch it 3 times... wow...
What is the size of your engine
You need the wheel cart from sea eagle. Load the motor on it at the car and roll it to the water.
Yes, would definitely put wheels on, and load all gear and put motor on and just easily transport to the water. Or cart like you mentioned.
bro, how are you able to record from so many angles?
can you stand in the boat with the inflatable floor?
Yes, I fly fish with it all the time. Not only standing but casting in wind and all
Indeed... nice vid!
how much money just for the boat
dude, i respectfully suggest you get some wheels for the boat.
where this beatiful river is?
South-East Finland. Kymijoki (Kymiriver) flows to Gulf of Finland.
A little more stable than your Kaboat Hannuyk. But it does look a little more difficult to carry, nice vid

thnkx :)
It's 9,8 hp
How much is the cost to purchase a 9.8 hp outboard motor? Where did you get the money to buy the outboard motor? Win a lottery?
How long do these boats last?
Check out the price from Boatstogo.

how much hp?
Доброго времени! Хочу такой приобрести! но он продается только в штатах, может подскажите какая компания(саит) делает доставку по россии
телефон поставщика +7(926-063-63-71
Нет еще!
9.8hp? I looked at the specs (of the boat) and it's only rated for up to 5hp. The man likes his POWAAAAA
Ja...it IS rated for a 9.9 hp...

Is the motor JET? I didn't know there are such small jet outboards. And no problems with the flexibility of the boat?
sergey, have you seen anywhere JET conversion set for Tohatsu 9.8 hp? It may reduce the performance too much...
