I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Ben Fabian thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Yep in an inflatable if there is the smallest amount of chop you do get wet .I have a 14ft Zodiac with a 25hp two stroke mercury it's a blast and will go any where. I'm running in fresh water here in Tenneessee hope to get it on the ocean one day. Nice video you guys and happy belated birthday. Safe boating to y'all.
We would love to have a setup like you have ! We never feel unsafe in an inflatable but we sure can get uncomfortable if it’s choppy. Thanks for the birthday wishes !!
Really good review. I wish this review had been around when i purchased a similar kaboat. Ultimately, it was the narrow transom that did not easily fit the motor that made me get rid of it. Still, a great value.
We had a similar issue in not understanding just how narrow it is. We bought transom wheels and spent like 300 to ship them here and they won’t fit lol. Thanks for checking out the review , sorry it was too late
Oh love the epic drone shots! Really sells you on having a tiny boat in paradise. Question, do you have to carry a bucket to bail out water? Seems like you would get a fair bit of water in there from the waves and climbing in and out.
Thanks! And nope, this boat has a drain plug in the back. So when we get a good amount of water in, we open the plug and plane the boat out a bit...flows right out the back. Good question!
Hi, those little airhead cigarrete lighter inflatables 20$ will get most of it. Then top off goes quick hand pump, and cheap. If car or little adapter charge hold box about 80. just dont leave it on it will overheat.
Rick Robinson hey Rick, welcome to the island. We use GTA for our internet and phones. The other major provider is Docomo. Their prices seem to be pretty similar to one another and we just chose gta because their office was near a Cinnabon we were visiting lol.
Thanks for the review. I fish when the temperature is down in the teens. Getting wet would really suck. I thought about getting 1 cuz it's lighter than my 12 ft inflatable catamaran. But I don't get wet on Rough days so I guess I'm stick lifting 110lb every time I go fishing.
Boating for several hours on the rough ocean in our tropical climate became miserable at times because we were constantly getting splashed in the face. Can’t imagine the same at cold temperatures! Definitely better suited for calmer waters. Not sure if the wider Saturn rafts would do any better?
Oh yeah! Our little 3 gallon tank is usually over half full by the end of 6 hours trolling for fish. It's fun as long as you don't mind getting soaked 😬Thank you!
perfect.. gives me an idea for my needs.. maybe i go 12 foot with 6hp? or should i just go with a 8hp? will be using similar ocean open like you guys are..want the thin slim boat to cut in water faster so that helps
Håfa adai! We shipped to family in the states . Then they shipped it to us via USPS. We picked this boat because it comes in under 70lbs and is much cheaper to ship under that weight with USPS. Our family took the oars and seats and pump that come included so that it stayed as light as possible. They then shipped the accessories separately.
We have been watching your videos since we discovered this one. Y’all went all fancy and got a nice new boat, but what happened to the KaBoat? We just bought an 18 foot Saturn boat and are moving to Guam this winter. See you on the water!
We still have the Kaboat . We loaned it out for a while to some friends but have it back now and plan on more videos with it. That 18 ft will be great here and just in time for mahi/wahoo season if you fish . See you at the boat ramp!
@@CandEAdventures Thanks! I'm more of a fresh water guy but my wife and I are learning from watching your videos... Wait... is that a good idea? Well We are going to try anyway!
Nice review, I'm having trouble finding these in Europe, do you have any advice how to acquire these in Europe? On the Saturn website everything is out of stock.
Many options were out of stock when we purchased ours too. We don't have any affiliation with the company, so I'm not sure how much help we can provide. The Saturn inflatables are offered on other retailer websites like boatstogo.com, but we aren't sure if they ship to Europe. Sorry we couldn't be more help! Hopefully you can find something similar and get on the water soon 🍻
The Jones Act really limits any shipping from foreign countries to U.S. territories. But using a forwarding shipping service would most likely work, like Alibaba. It depends on the company from which you're ordering and the forwarding freight company. For us, it was just easier to exclude more middle men and use family stateside and FedEx.
J Roger we think that it would have no problem planing with a 6hp . I guess it would depend how much weight you had in it. The 8 has no trouble with our setup , it does about 15mph with us then it starts to bend the boat slightly under the load and we start getting wet from all the water pushing .
@@CandEAdventures I'm also looking at the 12' Saturn Mini-Kat...Any thoughts on stability, width (too wide), feeling like not sitting deep inside the cat? Thanks for the great reply in quick time...: )
J Roger not sure on that boat. We looked at it but it’s double the weight of the kaboat which put it out of the running for us. That jump in weight for us would have killed us in shipping but may not be that big of a deal where you live. That extra weight and width should make it plenty stable though.
First of all an excellent review. You guys are a great couple. I remember being young in those days! We are an older couple with an RV. We have the 15' model (sk470 about $690.00). Blowing it up manually does get tiring especially for us older folks. So what we use is a battery operated Dewalt portable vacuum to blow it up. We use it not only in inflate but also deflate it. You still need the manual pump that the boat comes with to get the pressure higher to finish. Again being older we found a foot pump that will get the pressure up higher and is easier to use. We have used our boat in lakes and rivers. We purchased a Intex 40 pound trolling motor for $129.00 on Amazon that included a built in extension handle. We do not use the benches that came with the boat, Instead we purchased swivel boat seats at Walmart and built chair stands out of Large PVC pipe. With that set up I can set the chair so that my back is touching the end of the motor handle and steer it (mostly strait minor turns). We also purchased wheels for easier launching. However we changed out the thicker wheels (those red ones) for lawn mower wheels so that they would be able to tilt up and could be used with the motor. If any one would like to see the set up we have including the US Coast Guard approved mini life jackets, how we store it in our motorhome, here is the short video: Just jump to the five minute mark to see the set up. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/4wvkMUKc8gw/w-d-xo.html.

SATURN BOATS Don’t buy it, poor quality, customer service bad, Mr. Eliot offer me to replace my 16” hull and after a year I am still waiting and Boats to go creating false statements. Don’t waste your money on Saturn.
Customer got bad paint job on a transom. We got this customer replacement boat, but he disappeared for almost a year. Then year later he pop out, asking where is his replacement boat. Since we no longer had his replacement, we offered him discount, but he got all cranky, and we moved apart.
Not finger licking oh man that's a waste of money the best part is the lick the stuff off your fingers why does society have the stigma that men cannot eat an ice cream cone or lick their fingers when they have Cheeto fingers
That’s so true . Every time I eat an ice cream cone I hold it with 2 hands so I don’t drop it. And my friends say it creeps them out. Don’t even get me started on when I make eye contact with my friends while I’m eating an ice cream cone. I’m just trying to show them I’m listening to them and they freak out 🍦 😂
Shop vac worked great! I use a air mattress pump plug in the cig lighter

Great review! Thanks for the footage showing the stability while standing & getting into it while out in the water.
We were surprised by just how stable it is considering it is so narrow! Thanks for watching and glad you liked it :)

I am in search of a dingy and an outboard motor. Can a woman 5’2” lift that motor by themself? Without help or is it to heavy

We like the xl but was too expensive to ship . Saturn doesn’t ship here and we have to go through mail forwarders ☹️.
So you remove the outboard motor after each use?
