Phoibos Apollo version two has landed! The titanium diver is now 316L SS and cheaper by $80USD! Also, the watch has been flipped upside down and is now a left hand driver! Interesting fun sandwhich dial and many colors. I think version one is still my fav in the Apollo line but can't wait to seen the 3rd gen late 2022!

It's definitely a _love it or hate it_ design. I really like it because it looks nothing like anything else out there, and I appreciate that because many small companies seem to play it safe and copy well-known designs. Also, I wouldn't be able to copy the look by modding an SKX because the design would require parts that the modding market doesn't have. I'm definitely a *form > function* guy, but this watch-- even without a usable chapter ring and lacking day/date function-- keeps drawing me back.

Phoibos make some interesting original designs - i like this one more than their other models. Still waiting for microbrands to make more 38mm or midsize divers though.

I have the initial version and must say that I LOVE it. But, I completely understand that they needed to build a more affordable watch and went with SS design.
That “lefty” design if very interesting and I’d be curious if I’d be able to pull it off.
I guess I have to get my hands on one to know, right? 😉
