Hey MrKnowItAll, The resources link above took me to Git which had a different file structure from the content in the video, and I wasn't able to locate the .js file needed to load into the WordPress theme. Can I get some clarity, please?

He made many changes on the project in github since April 2020 which is the date of this video, so u need to check the commits of the master branch and go back to the versions of 2020 so u find the folders and files just like in the video
@CodePlusPlus there's quite a few files missing unfortunately. I am looking for the entire js folder. Can you help us out here? by the way, to compile scss into css you need sass .

@@mrknowitallyts thanks, been all the way through it; now managed to get gulp watch up and running, still cannot get the HeroSlider.js to run on the site - what should the functions.php contain? I have brought over the src directory (which contains the modules directory and index.js file ) over to my themes folder directly under "fictional-university-theme" and edited the functions folder to include several variants on "wp_enqueue_script('main-university-js', e.g. get_theme_file_uri('/src/modules/index.js'), NULL, '1.0', true); ", also tried wp_enqueue_script('main-university-js', get_theme_file_uri('/src/modules/HeroSlider.js'), NULL, '1.0', true); and other permutations on this . no luck. can you help?
@@BillWhammers Rename folder name 'src' to 'js' and then within folder change 'index.js' to 'scripts.js'. Now run your gulp watch again. scripts.js will be bundled into 'scripts-bundled.js'. Now you only need to include this newly bundled js wp_enqueue_script('university-main-js', get_theme_file_uri('/js/scripts-bundled.js'), NULL, microtime(), true);
