Please use a plugin to back up the site. I have several videos on that. Use updraft or duplicator plugin for this. You can use this method too, but it's only complicating this if you have access to the site right now.

Not every website can be cloned really, the limitation is in the functionality and not design. When we clone, we clone the frontend and not backend. For example, you can clone the design of an e-commerce website, but you cannot clone the e-commerce functionality at the backend that powers the frontend.

This method does not work with Elementor, I have lots of videos in my cloning playlists on cloning to elementor
