I love the last statement, I woke up this morning thinking "This is not my practice life." It's so freaking powerful!

Watched this after seeing the documentary Minimalism: A Documentary about the Important Things. I love his message...just wish he didn't sound so angry.

The message he is trying to convey is one that naturally should invoke immense anger. Do you not get angry when you realize your whole world is orchestrated for someone else's benefit?

Stupidity goes viral in this world….. it takes too much power to digest these kinds of arguments.

Watched this TED talk in order to obtain information on an essay about a Netflix Minimalism documentary. I absolutely loved the way he expressed himself, so full of passion, hope and trust on that what he is doing is the right thing. The CONFIDENCE my god. He is officially one of the people I look up to but have never met.

Megan Knipe - I know, old vid with some mind blowing info, and very few views for a ted talk. What gives? Maybe we can make it come alive this year. Definitely relevant information!

its fine for him to have the things he enjoys. I guess his presentation was lost on me. I get that anyone should be able to do what they want within reason, sure. His presentation had an anti consumerist slant to it and by doing that I covered his message of "just do what your heart desires." Maybe it was just from his perspective and his journey so he was just saying what worked for him. Think his message would have been more clear if he gave multiple examples of people doing things they enjoy in various walks. Maybe some of his banker buddies love what they do and he could have highlighted he didnt, they do, and everyone should be doing what they love. Not sure why he tossed in advertisers into the mix, propoganda?? right because the world is a big conspiracy to keep that guy trapped in a job. No we need money because thats how the world works and he is free to do what he wants. Its unfortunate his family wanted him to succeed financially and worried about him living in a van. The bottom line he is a hard worker. Did what his heart desires. stuck to it and is now successful. Its sad to think people dont realize they can do what theyre heart desires. Suppose its a reality.
