I bought two bottles of Intense when it was released for $120 each. I sold the OG screw cap, I prefer the darker side of the Intense, I can wear it all year in Michigan.

I just got a Bottle of the Intense CB, and it also has EDP on the Bottom Label. Batch Code of 22G188F. (5) Months Old. Great Video, and I appreciate the Content you put out for us. Also, I never tried the Original CB but I'm really Digging this Intense Version of it. I'm not really getting a lot of Sweetness to my Nose, and some say that they're getting lots of Vanilla. I remember trying the original early in my fragrance collecting journey and wasn’t really a fan of how citrusy it was but decided to give the intense one a try and love it much more! Might have to revisit the OG one though as my taste has changed over time 🤔
Finally picked up the original, and am enjoying it. My collection has increased to the point of worrying of buying fragrances are too similar. For instance, John Varvatos Dark Rebel and Bentley Man Intense are very similar, and I gave the Bentley way. If you say these two Cedrat are very similar, then I’ll pass on the intense until my bottle runs out in a few years.
Dark Rebel and Bentley For Men Intense are very different to my nose. DR is dark and dirty and spicy. It smells like a pirate with rum and dirtier leather and spices. Its performance is not great. Bentley For Men Intense is rich, luxurious and gentlemanly. It smells like a rich man. The woods smell like a cedar sauna and the booziness is much less apparent than DR. The leather smells like upscale leather rather than a biker jacket. DR is a rock n roll scent. Bentley For Men Intense is a classy masculine scent. That's just my opinion though.

I ordered both samples: I tried the Intense first, didn't like it because of the strong leather, too strong. Then I sprayed the og, since there is still the leather (less) I associated it to the Intense, thinking "ok I don't like the Cedrat Boise line".
The next day I sprayed the original, and the magic happened, absolutely loved it smelling it on its own, it's a masterpiece.
Where did you get the samples
The decisive difference is the durability of the fragrance. The Intense version has a much longer durability - about 8 hours. However, the very beginning of the fragrance is better in the classic version. The Intense version smells like lemon aroma oil for cake for the first hour. Then the smell gets deeper and goes towards coniferous trees, e.g. cedar, fir, etc. I rate the smell very positively and prefer rather Intense version
I just got it today and i love the opening, its sooo good but being the first fragrance that i have with leather it might take me some time to get used to as it seems a little to strong.
I genuinely think the original is the best introduction to Niche Perfumery for most men. The Intense is less immediate...I've had it for a few months, it needs a few more wears before I can pass comment comprehensively, but it's definitely a grower and it's definitely more interesting in the dry-down. I miss the fruity freshness of the original's opening, but that dry-down has me huffing my own arms.
Does the intense still have a good opening? Still citrusy?

Fruity notes are toned down in the Intense, woods are amped up.
I recently picked up a sample of Cedrat Boise. I honestly wanted to love this fragrance and for the first 20 minutes on my skin I really love the scent. It’s initially a lemon citrus scent with a musky, woody backbone. However, after 20 minutes there’s virtually no citrus left and it’s all a woody and slightly leathery scent. To me it smelled like someone who just smoked a cigarette and tried to cover it up with a bit of lemon scent.
Do yourself a favor, just go for the the original. The difference is negligible, but the price favors the original, you safe quite a bit. Also, the original scent is whats make Cedrat Boise so likable and well regarded. That’s my 2 cents
I just got this a few days ago. I am blown away. It does smell different compared to my usual designer fragrances as this is my first niche fragrance.
In another video of yours mentioning Cedrat Boise, me and some others complained about it not lasting very much. Well, I decided to give it one more chance and spray the last bit from my sample. 3-4 hours afterwards I couldn't even get a hint of it. Imagine my surprise at the end of the work day when a couple of my colleagues(women) commented on me asking me wtf was I wearing that smells so good and unique. I was surprised they could still smell it, I guess I must be going nose blind, surprised also that they liked it so much, to me it smells like a lemon cake, meh. I guess I will try the intense version too and get a full bottle of whichever I like more.
i had the same with a mancera sample and with CDNIM after 6 hours. also with pure parfum version
spray heavily on a t-shirt and hang it in a room you're not in too often and leave it be, you will know how you smell for others when you go into the room after an hours or two.

@@klikfisz You know I hadn't thought of that!! I appreciate the tip, and will try this for certain. I have intense CB and I find I'm nose blind to it after the strong citrus opening. A few people have said this particular fragrance can cause nose blindness due to its heavy oil content wearing out your nose quickly. Your idea will test this out✌️✌️✌️✌️

I finally got a sample of Cedrat Boise due to all the hype online it was getting, and honestly, I was very underwhelmed by it.
Why?
Sadly not everyone can appreciate niche fragrances.
Probably your taste is more for drug store scents
Appalling how some people here can't take an opinion.
I too found CB too leathery and dark at first so I didn't get the fresh vibe everyone talked about. It was only when I bought another bottle after selling the first that I appreciated CB. It is synthetic but strong, unique, and enjoyable.
My collection has a mix of "drug store," designer, and niche fragrances so I don't see anything wrong with that.
After 20 minutes the citrus dissipates and it smells like you just smoked a cigarette…..
I also picked up a sample for testing - I really wanted to love this fragrance :(
i have one bottle of cedrat boise. love it. only downside is the atomizer doesnt work on my bottle. something is not making it spray, was able to get to spray at random but it was only one spray. wonder if i can get the atomizer.
Will probably have to buy a separate sprayer that can decant it
skin chemistry is sucha ungatefull thing man... :D yesterday l was conductin an test-three colognes, Cedrat Boise OG, intense, and Al Harramain L'Aventure, and... in the morning, l can smell only Al Harramain on my hand, two those are gone without a trace. 45% oil concentration you say?.. Idk about that man... but anyway, for 2-3 hours Intense smells insanely good, and l even dont care that it dont last on my skin. :) great juice!

I dont like Savage first off, I only have the Intense version. I think i would like the orig more. There is a strange note in the intense version that I do not like.
The "intense" should just be the original formulation at a more expensive price point.
Decanted the OG, didnt like it. Blind bought the intense becaus3 i found a great deal (4.2 oz for 80 bucks) hopefully i like it

I did 2 months maceration and it's getting better on performance wise but still did not satisfy me. I prefer Lattafa Rave Now if you looking for pineapple scented fragrance,it much juicier than the original cedrat boise,longevity are crazy for fresh fragrance and it smells really good too,got a lot of compliments even i don't wear it for compliments,i just love the scent.

I bought, blind, a bottle of the Intense version, and I have worn it a half dozen times over the past 3 weeks. I don't like it. It is weak, very weak, gets no projection. I even asked people if they could smell it, and they said they could not: this is soon after 7 to 10 sprays. Yeah, it leaves an oily sheen on my skin and has a citrus note, but this seems to be it. I got a tester of Red Tobacco, and I love that. Why all they hype with this Intense eCdrat Boise? I don't sense it.

i blind bougt the original Cedrat Boise and was disappointed. the scent itself is gorgeous, i love it very much but the performance of my skin is weak. it disappears from my skin in about an hour. i still like to sniff the atomizer or wear the fragrance around a hous on my days off when i can reapply throughout the day. too bad i can't wear to the office
when the Intense became available at the stores selling decants i bought the sample to see if was going to have better performance. unfortunatelly performance of this one is disappointing sa well. too bad because the scent is equally nicce as the original
Give your bottle around 2 months or so to age. Leave it in a cool dark place without the cap. You'll find that the performance and scent profile improve. You can also go noseblind to the original very easily so be aware of that

Dior Eau Sauvage Edt is the best bergamot scent on the planet.
This fragrance is the paralel to Creed Aventus just instead of Pinapple there is Bergamot.

Do not buy!!! One of the biggest disappointments I have experienced. If I had to describe the contents of the bottle in one word, I would choose the word: nothing!! And this is nothing very expensive...

Give your bottle at least 2 months to age in a cool dry place with the cap off and it gets a lot better

Perfume reviewers are liars. Just bought this rubbish wore it and immediately regrets and painfully realised I have been conned!
