Yeah but is the intense worth double the cost? You're only comparing retail. You can get the original for $99 at some discounters. Can't get the new one discounted much awhile.

Almost blind bought this and I'm so thankful I sampled first as I really can't accomodate to the woody/citrus blend here. Not sure how this can be considered as a safe blind buy or even mass appealing. I even prefered Red Tobacco despite its harsh opening.
I been watching for a couple months and I've went back and watched a bunch of old ones I don't think I've seen you do a alexandria fragrance review and with that new ete sauvage elixer out and all if the other creators gushing over it i wonder if you get ahold of one of you can do a review
Original is great but this is a bit too pricey to buy now. Hindu Kush is also awesome. There is an odd similar note in all Manceras, I can't figure out what it is.

The original is such a great fragrance. It’s the kind of scent you could wear for the next 20 years and be completely fine. Absolutely love it.

How can I verify if I have purchased an authentic intense cedrat boise? I received it yesterday and yes, it's darker, but it doesn't seem to last more than 4 - 5 hours. Please help me out.....
Magnetic cap and batch code is where I'd start.
daaa pouch is to keeeep it out of daa light... and if you think about it- every other Mancera fragrance is an EDP so they probably have a standard set of boxes they use with a different sticker depending on the fragrance
Some clowns on Fragrantica did label it 'animalic'. I bought two bottles for $112 each when it came out. It's a great year-round fragrance.

Mancera Cedrat Boise the OG is NOT a beast mode scent at all, Ashton always says this but he must have an old bottle or got a lucky batch, I have 2 bottles of Cedrat Boise 2018 & 2019 and the performance on both is awful 2-3 hours max. - I've also tried it on different people thinking it was my skin but it's the same poor performance.
Can confirm, mine is 2021 batch and the performance is laughable. Might be a fake (don't think so) but regardless, not gonna buy any other Mancera anymore.
@@draganov It won't be fake, I love Ashton but he seems really biased towards Cedrat Boise, anytime someone says different he doesn't seem to ever consider it. Fyi Cedrat Boise is one of if not my favourite fragrance of all time whilst it lasts at least.
@@ThatEssentialAttire Yeah, this is the only dud from all the ones Ash likes and I bought :) So far his taste seems to align with mine very well.
Also, I just tested it again - it sits VERY oily on my skin, feels oily on touch, the bottle is nice and clean, there are no spelling mistakes or something suspicious with the packaging, when you shake it the bubbles disappear quickly, but ... 20 mins after its a very weak skin scent :) I guess I'll just leave it to macerate and see what happens :)

@@jensromme8782 A little, yeah. But I still don't like the scent, so I just shelved it and don't come back to it. Maybe will try it again when it warms up here, but since I have a lot of other bottles which I enjoy, I don't see myself using it a lot.
Got this and I immediately kept my OG inside its box. This is becoming a regular day fragrance in my rotation.

What’s the smell difference between intense and og? Does the intense having more woody note, cut down the leather note from the original?

Which one is better suited for a tropical country weather?
I have to be careful even with the original in warmer clients; it's easy to overspray. I would think you would need a very restrained hand to use the intense in a tropical climate unless you want to become *that* guy.

I think it’s only the older formulations of the OG that’s heavily projected and long lasting because I got a sample recently and after two wears it doesn’t even last as long as aqua wood which is super fresh. Maybe 4 hours? Maybe?
Definitely. My bottle that I bought in November 2020 has terrible performance. Literally a skin scent within 2 hours.
It goes back further, I have got a bottle from 2018 and another from 2019 and both last 2 hours.
I came here to find people speaking on performance and so far this scent is beast mode in every area except projection... Everyone is saying within 2-4hrs max the beast is tamed... Beast mode still if u wanna respray thru the day tho

There's a store near me selling the OG Cedrat Boise for U$ 85 and I'm seeing the same price on eBay. Are those fake fragrances? Other places are selling for U$ 180 or more. I'm confused.

You should do (if you haven’t)a video of fragrances that their more concentrated versions project less (eg Bleu de Chanel parfum I feel is weaker projecting than the EDT and EDP)
The more the alcohol more the projection. In parfum fragrance oil is more, as compared to edp and edt and less alcohol.
People that say it is a skin sent after a hour or so are insane. They go nose blind to it. I have sprayed my clothes and gotten a complement on how I smell two days later when I threw the shirt on to run to the gas station lol.
I bought regular Cedrat Boise for less than 60 USD, so in comparison with 200 USD I don't find it "obsolete"...on top of that it lasts like 10 hours on my skin already. In terms of quality...perhaps. Thanks for the video Ash.

The fruity notes throughout is what I love about the original. Also the performance is great on the original. I think I'll stick with the OG. Thanks bro.
My cedrat Boise EDP gets smokey and I can totally see the aventus vibe people get from it. The beginning though smells like fruity pebbles cereal or something along those lines. Great frag and for me does a 180 from the opening

I ordered the Red Tobacco & Intense Cedrat Boise this morning. The sample bottles I purchased had me hooked.
These established guys are essential commission based sales reps online, find the new channels those guys are more honest.

The OG is not screechy.The Intense version does not mention fruity notes.
I love the fruitiness and balance of the OG.
This Intense version sounds more like a flanker doing it’s own thing rather than the OG on steroids.
Does someone have any suggestions for women/unisex fragrances that are suitable for women that don't like fragrances that are too feminime, i would love to buy something for my fiancée and she doesn't like feminime fragrances.

I picked this up from twisted lily and received it Saturday, same batch code as yours and the same misprints too, this one sold out quick and now it appears to be sold out everywhere in the US. Wore it today and man it smells great.
Yeah, I tried to get Saturday and ended going to 6 sights before I found with a great discount being a first time buyer. It just got delivered this morning so I will be sampling it as soon as I get home

I have a decant of the original Cedrat Boise now, and think it smells like you are eating Froot Loops cereal in the forest, anyone else think so? Not knocking it at all cause I actually like it a lot, but wondering how the Intense version compares.

Dior Eau Sauvage Edt is the best bergamot scent on the planet.
This fragrance is the paralel to Creed Aventus just instead of Pinapple there is Bergamot.

I cannot stand the original. Never knew what part is the part that just smells off to me but it must be the leather you’re saying is divisive. I actually really liked this intense version though
To my nose original MCB smells like burnt citrus caramel candy and it stays on my skin 2 hours only then transforms into weird animalic smell. Longevity extremely bad. No dry down. Got mine from certified online seller. I'm using mine as toilet refresher. And yet Fragrantica community compares it to Creed Aventus which is pure nonsense to me. But I would give a shot to this new version of MCB.

Might be a dud, I don’t pick up any of those notes that you mentioned. Got complimented a few times when I’ve worn mine.
