This was great work, and don't worry about going off, a lot of people feel just like you. Not sure about Europe but I do notice that here in the US black athletes get labeled as "disrespectful" or "divas" for their behavior when white athletes get called "passionate" or "quirky" for doing the same thing. Even when we remove the outright racism there is a bias in the perception of athletes that we need to address.
12:31 "black" doesn't refer to the skin color but the bruises that are black, so it means: "we beat them so hard that now they are full of bruises" and the picture of Balotelli is because he scored the last goal.
Very nicely put. This is an issue that needs to be addressed - there's a reason they're taking the knee before matches in England. Racism has no place in sports - it has no place in society, and life in general. That shit needs to be eradicated. On Mario - I always thought he was a brilliant character. Sad to see how his career didn't pan out the way many would say it 'was supposed to' - but that's sadly the case for many of us - not just footballers. Respect to Mario. Respect to people. I've gain more respect for you man, almost cried because every time people talk about Mario they say he was ill-disciplined forgetting that he maybe is the most racially abused player of all time.
5:56 turns out someone in the stands blew a whistle (you can hear it) and he thought it was the referee so he just did whatever not a lot of people know the real reason he did that
All the bad stuff he did must have been a way for him to be distracted from all the abuse. The mentall strength to be in the italian league all those years with the amount of abuse
I remember watching him tear Germany apart at Euro 2012, so sad what happened next, the racist abuse he has received throughout his career is sickening
I really did not know that it was that big of a problem tho, as 15 year old back then that didnt follow alot of soccer i always just thought he just went through drought era.... So shit to hear that this is the reason
what a sad story. I like how you showed your emotion toward the end of the video. You care. People should care. I'm from the US and people claim we are a racist country by default. We have our problems but italy/eastern europe are way more racist to the point this where teams are fined a measley 60-100k and refs not enforcing the rules to stop play. What a shame Balo was rejected by his own country when he had the potentential to be Italy's best striker of his time. they really haven't had a striker of his talent since. Karma
he was one of my favorite players growing up. it was horrible what he had to go through and what black player go through. look what france did to their black players after the world cup
Him ruining his career has nothing to do with racism. His attitude is to blame. He was coached by the best manager in the world, he played in the best clubs in the world but he never worked hard. And he had many (also second) chances to prove his worth but he did not care. His managers had hard time to deal with him too. You can sympathize with him over the racism he endured but that does not excuse his laziness. He should have ignored all this BS and focused on reaching his full potential by adapting a good and positive attitude instead of complaining and throwing tantrums(to leave the pitch).
By no means do I disagree that Mario’s career being the way it is purely because of racism alone, but it is a massive factor Imagine on a regular occasion you go out on the pitch you get racially abuse, it’s going to make you demotivated isn’t it
One thing I always wondered about him is how he kept such a jolly and playful personality despite going through hell on earth throughout his life. I find it very inspirational.

Appreciate you❤️
how him being abused contradicts him being a spoiled child, a bully, a buffoon and having ruined his career da fak
5:56
turns out someone in the stands blew a whistle (you can hear it) and he thought it was the referee so he just did whatever
not a lot of people know the real reason he did that
All the bad stuff he did must have been a way for him to be distracted from all the abuse. The mentall strength to be in the italian league all those years with the amount of abuse
I’m grateful he did now, so he’s remembered for people a funny guy and not just for being a target for racial abuse
I remember watching him tear Germany apart at Euro 2012, so sad what happened next, the racist abuse he has received throughout his career is sickening
“One consistent feem”
I love how respectful you are to Mario it really seems like you actually care and are not just doing this in front of the camera for sympathy respect.
It’s really shocking to see how bad it got, hope he’s doing well now
While the racism was horrible, balotelli should have handle it better. Just like Internet trolls, once you react they got you.
Karma
can you do a vid on one of football’s most underrated players “El Magico” Gonzales from El salvador
Damn. Asking God to help him and protect him at all cost and raise again
For the next World Cup
Thumbnail straight from perspective yt channel🤣
he was one of my favorite players growing up. it was horrible what he had to go through and what black player go through. look what france did to their black players after the world cup
By no means do I disagree that Mario’s career being the way it is purely because of racism alone, but it is a massive factor
Imagine on a regular occasion you go out on the pitch you get racially abuse, it’s going to make you demotivated isn’t it
