Similarly, a religion has boundaries for management of culture, enforcement of rituals that bond that society, development of identity, and ESPECIALLY protection against barbarians (something your secular state of India has failed to provide to hindus, fyi). Your state boundaries will be useless if the people inside those boundaries don't believe in those boundaries (eg muslims). Islam has trans-national identity which is exposed again and again unless you are blind. Similarly, christianity has trans-national allegiance to the greater christian sphere (namely vatican). There are many examples that I have come across where modern liberated educated hindu women get shocked when there muslim husbands don't allow children to be hindu. Normally, they end up dead (lol).

Your state boundaries will be useless if the people inside those boundaries don't believe in those boundaries (eg muslims). Islam has trans-national identity which is exposed again and again unless you are blind. Similarly, christianity has trans-national allegiance to the greater christian sphere (namely vatican).
Such a problem doesn't come with Hinduism or any other off-shoots because India = Hinduism.

Hinduism is so beautiful. It depicts Goddess Durga (Mother of the Universe) as being 'Shakti' i.e. supremely powerful. She is not perceived as weak, meek or subservient to anyone. She is revered and worshipped for her ability to grant prosperity and abundance, victory over enemies, power and strength as well as salvation. In Hinduism, God is not only the Father; she is the Mother too and I find it incredibly beautiful!!
