@Resurrected jesus I think 'hinduism is a way of life' is a figure of speech which means that rather than having a particular set of strong , orthodox believe in how to live your life in other religions ,hindisum is based on concept of doing good and causing no harm to others in whatever manner a person feels to,he is not obligated to any already god written destiny but rather works of key concepts of krama( action)🙏

DharMa is organic and native, so it has multitude of deities. DharMa literally means that harmoniously hold/Dhar in union not only individual Body+Mind+Intellect+Identity/Ego but also family members, society, flora-fauna around, life, nature & universe. It is Natural Law which is enforced not by state or clergy but individual conscience. ReLigion is Regal/Darbari legion/gang. Marxism is also religion, so also ConAngrez who misruled over India for 70 years.

Aur Hinduism me itna freedom hai ki thodi thodi baat me (gadhe) log convert ho jate hai dusre selfish religion me. Kabhi kuch paiso ke liye ya phir kabhi relationship ke liye .. Aur jo zabarzasti convert karaye jaate unki toh baat hi alag hai.

Jokes apart, when you marry, its with a desire to live together with your partner, I do wish that you always have the strength to love and Fight for your partner.

These 27 points will describe what is special about being a Hindu:-
    1) Believe in God ! - Aastik - Accepted
    2) Don't believe in God ! - You're accepted as Nastik
    3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak(idol worship)
    4) You dont want to worship idols- no problem u can focus on Nirguna Brahman.
    5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc are core Hindu schools
    6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it.
    7) You want to start your journey by reading "Bhagvad Gita"- Sure !
    8) You want to start your journey by reading "Upanishads" - Go ahead
    9) You want to start your journey by reading "Purana"- Be my guest.
    10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti(devotion) tradition.
    11) You don't like idea of Bhakti(devotion) ! No problem. Do your Karma(moral duty) Be a karmayogi.
    12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy.
    13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life & find God - let's go ! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic !
    14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship).
    15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy
    16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan(knowledge).
    17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself ! Meditate, Study !
    18) You believe in Female energy ! Shakti is worshipped.
    19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism! "Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (the world is a family)
    20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival.
Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year.
    21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu.
    22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved.
    23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu!
    24) You know that Hinduism is a way of life, with considerable freedom.
    25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, River, Prani-matra, Earth, Universe!
    26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint.
    27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily)
This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!.
Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah" Let the knowledge come to us from every direction.

Many people from west european countries, especially the younger generation are turning into atheists and firm believers of science. Most do not go to the church. Also, it is the catholic church which is very conservative in its approach and beliefs and has binding rules. The protestant churches are not that orthodox. Karolina is from poland which is a catholic country.

I am married to a Ukrainian girl and I had same issues with their church when we wanted to marry according to their customs. They asked me to convert. I told my wife I don't mind going through the conversion rituals so that we can get married in Church, but not to expect me to believe in Christianity. We then came to India and married in Indian custom in a temple. No questions asked, all my relatives accepted her as if they know her from years. For some years, my wife remained Christian but once she started learning more about Yoga, Vedanta etc she realised they match her thought process more than Christianity. An ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, She is a devout Hindu now. No pressure, no conversion, just Truth changed her.

@Ramandeep Singhyou are another fool either you are a hindu ignorant of your culture or else you are not even a hindu. Again the same problem with idol worship. Listen god is everywhere . He is present in each and every atom. He created everything including the stones . It's up to you how you worship. By chanting his holy name or by idol worship or by any other means . He is only pleased by your devotion and good karma . He is omnipresent

      @hiteshchaudhari1532 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@Ramandeep Singh Air is present everywhere. You can use it. Why do you put Fan or AC in your home?
You can get spiritual knowledge from your book. You can read that book anywhere like novel. Put it in any dirty place. Read it from washroom. Dont put scarf on head while reading it. We need only eyes and brain to get spiritual knoeledge from book. Why do you build specific building to put that book inside? That building is also made up of stone. Why dont you call it "Stone Building" or " Stone Dwara"?
Nobody can see virus/bacteria by naked eyes. Intelligent people know that it exists but we need electrone microscope to see it. After watching that, we see its drawing as well in books. And people believe it.
Nobody says I will only believe after I personally see it. If you want, you need to be at the level of using electrone microscope. So to see micro organism you need certain equipment and qualification.
And you think you can see God with your these eyes which have limitations. God is complete and our senses are incomplete with certain limitations. You cant see complete with incomplete equipment.
So how you can see God? You need to have some standards as prescribed in scriptures. Not any one can meet Prime Minister. Similarly not anyone can see God. You have to have that level of purity. There are many things beyond what we can see, hear or imagine. If we cant perceive it, we have to trust the path shown by great devotess of lord.
I can beat your each argument with verses of your own Guru. I know you are from which group of people. Better run away from here with your jealousy. You are from those stupid seperatists who wrongly put ahead name of 10 Gurus and spread fake knowledge to create conflicts.
Last question for you. Tell me if God has any specific Form or not. Clear your stand on this and I will teach you accordingly.

Unfortunately, the negative stereotypes about India are very popular, and because of that what is often 'lesser known' about India are its goods sides. So, in India's case, when I attempt to highlight its 'lesser known sides', more often than not, it is about India's positives. Hi Karolina, first I would like to congratulate you on your wedding. I have a story about the same situation that I would like to tell you. About two years ago, my niece, met a very respectful young Indian heart surgeon here in the US. His name is Rajesh. We have Iranian background who lived here in the US for the past 45-50 years. My niece is 28 years old and very beautiful and intelligent just like yourself and Rojesh is 33 and a very good looking young man. Rajesh had a broken marriage before he met my niece and has a son who lives between Rajesh and his ex-wife (she was an Indian lady as well). Rajesh is a Hindu and deeply in love with my niece (my niece is basically not practicing any religion) but his parents were totally against Rajesh's choice. His parents are both doctors and a very wealthy family but very very traditional. Unfortunately, his parents initially made him to choose between them and my niece so based on his culture he had to leave my niece just to respect his parents and their tradition. After a year he came back and told my niece that he couldn't live without her. He had a hard time convincing his parents that my niece is the only one he can be happy with, after the first failed marriage. to make the story short, his parents had to accept his choice and my niece, in their lives. They are very happy now and in love with each other. I wish you and your husband a life long happiness and a healthy life.

Mike, there is a phrase bird of a feather flock together, since in marriage its usually the girl who comes to the mans house to stay (at least Indian tradition) she has to adjust. If she is from different culture she has to adjust everything. For example western people at with fork & spoon, Indian family might prefer to eat with their hands etc. There are lot of mental blocks that need to be broken before truly settling in.
Now since Rajesh is 33, his parents would be near 60. So it makes them more difficult to change their thinking. Many times this holds true (that girl from similar tradition adjusts fast) as she is used to similar food. She wont be complaining about spice of ingredients added etc) but when the girl is from another tradition there are lot of changes. Also in Indian family its the girl who has to adjust a lot more than the in law. I guess they tried to get him married for a year, but he could not really feel comfortable with anyone.
The parents then gave up on their whims. But still the girl would have to adjust a lot, the parents definitely will adjust some. Indian mom in laws tend to be very dominating (they are the queens) so your neice has to sort of be able to put up some domination & earn the respect of your in laws to prove that your neice is the right partner for him, specially to stand up to what is right. also in her transition to Indian family, her husband has to be protective & supportive, she should keep her own traditions of course, but learn some Indian tradition, because in laws often like to show off their daughter in law as Wise & yet listening to their mom in laws. Its how easy your neice will be able to "butter" the mom in law, that easily everything will be nice. Good luck to her.

Marriage is family. Love is a connection. In Hindu culture love marriages are not encouraged as it goes against marriage, as a union of families. As a person who has witnessed such marriages, as my sister has married a European. I can honestly say that in a love marriage, family union only exists on the day of the marriage, then after a couple of years the reality is family incompatibility. This has serious repercussions of future generations of family members. Remember previous generation have had arranged marriages to uphold family values, if it is broken then future generations will suffer. Remember in Vedic scripture we do not have a word for divorce.

Wonderful story, reminds me so much about mine. I am a Sikh guy from Delhi who married a Christian woman from Philippines. There are so many similarities in our story that I couldn't resist myself. We also thought of getting married in a church in Philippines but I wasn't allowed as I'm not a Christian. Then we went to India and got married in a Sikh temple. Nobody asked my wife to change her religion to Sikhism, the priest in Temple didn't even bother what religion she is from. Then we came back to Philippines and had a celebration with friends and family but it wasn't a Church. I even remember going to Church and meeting the Father before we got married, he asked me about my religion, when I said I'm a Sikh, to my surprise, he didn't even know what's that. I kinda felt insulted the way he said "what's that!". But it didn't matter because my wife never cared about the fact that I'm from a different culture. Good thing is just like your story, our families supported us and many parents never cared about the fact that she is from a different religion either, in fact my mom gets along really well with her. We both are very open minded, we have a beautiful baby girl now and we have decided to give her teachings of both religions and let her decide what she wants to practice when she grows old. Thanks for sharing your story, it's beautiful! :)

What is wrong with u'll? Stay happy in practicing whatever religion u'll want. Don't shame any religion coz no religion is perfect, there r flaws in every religion.
Stop pointing on the flaws and learn the good deed.
      Please don't hurt others🙏🙏🙏.

@Abinesh Abi It is the right of the people to accept other religions or not.
Don't just pass irrelevant judgement without knowing the actual truth.

@@SN-bz7nb I'm not making irrelevant points, Most of the Indian Hindus accepts Jesus and Allah as Gods, but they(converted) don't do the same, they are in the mindset of Single god and teasing other religious people as worshippers of sathan, How can we expect religious tolerance from them..... Every religion have flaws, that doesn't mean my religion is lower than others, I don't want to interfere in others, as same they don't need to point my religious flaws to convert ppl to their religion...

@@abineshabi2785 Did u personally encounter any Christian making fun of other religion or teasing them as Satan worshippers? Don't just judge all Christians to b the same.
Christians believe in single God n it's their belief. N they like to share their religion with other ppl. It's their choice of life.
I guess this generation is smart enough to choose religion of their choice...just stop the nonsense of "converted." If u find any Christian who is unhappy vt their religion, pls make a point to tell them to change their religion. That's hw u'll cm to kw hw the "converted" r happy in their religion n hence they want to spread it to others also.

@@abineshabi2785 Religion is a very critical issue. U have heard abt many riots taking place in India. It is this kind of comments that triggers mind of ppl to think bad abt other religion. Pls make sure to avoid religious comments as much as possible.
