Thank you for the video. I also have the G43x MOS, I installed Night Fision sights ( made for an optic) so they are just a bit taller than the original sights because I was going to install the plate, with the Holosun but I shoot so good with these sights that I might not even purchase a Holosun, for it. Also purchased the TLR 7 sub and the Talon grips, for a holster I use the JX Tactical Fat Guy holster don’t let the name discourage you it can be used by thinner people, I have the same one for my Hellcat with the soft loops. I use a Holosun on my 365XL I’m good with it at the range shooting paper at 15 yards I have a decent group at 25 yards it opens up probably 4 plus inches depending on my day but shooting steel is no problem. For me I don’t think I’m good enough to use the Holosun in a self defense situation, that’s why I’m not putting one on the Glock or the Hellcat as of yet. So drawing from the holster and shooting in self defense I’m still old school with iron sights, plus the TLR 7sub will definitely blind the bad guy.
The best EDC carry. The light being optional in my opinion. I went with the HE507k Holosun and only thing i added in addition to the shield arms mags and mag release is the sheild arms base plate. This helps the mags sit at the most optimal angle, helps with speed of mag changes, and makes the overall setup look nicer. I do like the TLR light you have mounted but holster compatibility starts becoming difficult when you have lights and optics and still want to carey deep IWB. If you find a good holster for this configuration pleaee let me know as i might then add that same light to mine. I have the 1000 lumens version of that light on my G19 gen 5 MOS and love it for a home defense setup. Cant find a kydex IWB holster to aupoort it though. Also, talon grips on everything for sure.
I have a Glock 48MOS model, that I'm doing the TLR7Sub, Holosun EPS Carry, and looking at the XS F8 night sights. And yes, running a Shield Arms 15 round mag. And you can run the polymer mag release, just know that eventually it will need replaced.
I have a velo 4 for my g45. My only issue is that you HAVE to carry it at 1 o clock, which for me with a narrow 31" waist, it starts to push the end of the grip close to the edge of my hip which can cause printing. Other than that it's a great holster. Thought about the Certum for my 43x that way I can move it more toward center of body

I run almost same excep I went back from shield to oem... But if I may make a recommendation... As a carry gun u want to keep triggers stock for most part.. Thst said I always hate serrated g triggers.. Get the Overwatch Polydat shoe and polish you're own bar and swap shoes.. Makes a World of difference... And the poly dat is actually a Duty approved trigger (dat) fbi and other law enforcement have allowed these flat face triggers and they do reduce pretravel a decent amount up to 20% depending on ur frame tolerances.. But obviously keep all safeties in tact.. Hence duty rated... But wow the difference is night n day.. All other internals stock except a polish and it feels absolutely amazing.. But mine had a good factory break to begin with very smooth n glass rod break...
Nice video I went with the hellcat 9mm has a factory 15rd mag but getting the tlr7 sub its the best light on the market for these type guns. The tlr6 is good but I don't need the laser with a optic need brighter light to identify a assailant
Nice man! I have the 43x had it cut for a 507k. Added the Talon grips, extended slide lock and slide stop, 3.5 connector, truglo tritium sights, s15 mags and mag catch and mag well.

Try the Olight Baldr Mini. It has 600 lumen LED, green laser, can switch to use either or both, and rechargeable. It has held up very well with EDC and range use. And its SHORT. Only problem is finding a holster, but you are going to have that anyways with a 43x w/ a light.
I ain't dremling shit on a gun. If it isn't a direct fit. Isn't for me. What's even more dumb with Holosun EPS series is that even if you did settle for the mounting plate which at least they include to my understanding, they include three packs of screws yet none of them are the correct size. So yet something else you'd have to buy to make it work.
Q. Did you put a few rounds in your steel magazine with a piece of duck tape around the magazine then blow dry the handle, heat it up and let it cool down? Heard some people doing that to make the steel magazine release smoother and the polymer ones should do the same. Warm it up and let it cool down real good, Just saying.
what sights do you have? if you do appendix carry you should check out tier1 concealed they make one for this exact setup they are pretty awesome holsters.

Issues with *_optics_* on self-defense handguns: Weight, bulky, bigger, hampers the draw, optics fog up in quick climate changes, fog in cold temps, one more thing to break, needs batteries, hard to find the red dot in a stress filled gun fight, etc. Besides those reasons optics on self-defense guns may work OK.

Yes it’s true the 43x/48 mos pistols aren’t hostler compatible with standard 43x/48 holsters. But vice versa standard 43x/48 pistols are compatible with 43x/48 mos holsters. All due to the accessory rail for mos frames.
I have a 43x mos while my brother has a standard 48 is the only reason I know. I recently picked up a “divito’s customs” light compatible appendix sidecar style holster and couldn’t be happier. My setup is similar to the one in the video. Only difference is I went with a swap fox optic

I did bought a 15 round magazine S15 and it failed to my Glock 43x mos. It's not reliable magazine. I rather put an extension on Glock magazine. 100% reliable.
Just get a g19 it shoots better and comes with plates for a red dot and it takes all glock mags. This gun you either use 10 round mags or get the shield arms mags that they have been having problems with
Any issues with your shield mags? I have both gens and they have been way too unreliable. They jam constantly. I changed out the mag catch and they were still bad. Switched back to OEM which sucks as 15 rds would be awesome
That's gonna be my exact set up I just picked it up like 3 days ago. My g19 with 507c and tlrh1 was just getting kind of heavy.. 37 ounces loaded.. This gun loaded with no optic and light is 22 ounces.. Do you kno how much your set up weighs loaded?
@@MrMinecraftknight I had the HOGUE GRIP on my G42. At first they were great and filled my hand as the G42 is the slimmest of the Glocks. However, after several months of use, found the grip would slip and so far down it would interfere with a magazine insert, not good. Constantly pushing the rubber grip up. As you I installed the TALON PLASTIC wrap. I had the Sandpaper Talon first and hated it as it tore my shirts and skin, but great traction however, great for range only. The Talon grips do make a great difference with frames with very little stippling, as in these smaller Glocks.
It’s cool looking but the only useful thing on a carry gun is a laser. It’s not a battle gun. If u need to draw it it’s most likely gonna be within a few yards and a laser will get u on target from the hip
Do you have any pictures or video of the slide work that had to be done to get the optic to fit flush? I recently picked up a 43x mos and would rather mount the optic directly vs an adapter plate.

You need an adapter plate, but for mine I filed down the pegs on the real of the slide and filed down the front ones about half way to allow it to fit without the plate.

The purpose of having a light extending the barrel is so you can press the gun against an object without an extraction issue or damage to the gun.

I don't carry a light on my pistol. I have a handheld. The best holster I've found for the 43X is the Tenicor Velo4. Worth every penny.

S-15’s are very reliable mags. All 3 of mine have been 100%. Certified by me for EDC!

I enjoy them a lot, something about them just feels way better. Nice in between options so you don’t have the get the super thick hogue grips.

I didn’t use a dremel myself, I just used a file. But you just have to take your time on the rear posts and I filed about 3/4 of the front ones

The screws that come with the Sight, I just filed them down because they were too long and can interfere with the ejector.

I filed down the pegs lol, I know people that got them milled and it comes out a little cleaner.
The crimson Trace cts 1550 red dot will fit flush on the Glock 43x out the box.
