I can’t begin to explain the relief this mobility work gave me. I’ve suffered through a hip impingement since my sophomore year of high school and went through all of college athletics as a High Jumper trying to manager the pain. This is the first time I have been able to internally rotate my right hip pain free In years. I never write stuff like this on these videos but I literally almost cried from happiness after not feeling that aching pain in my hip. Thank you so much and if it isn’t working for you. YOU NEED MORE TENSION I’ve done this before in school and it never worked until I literally pulled the band at least 8 feet from where it was tethered.

Thank you for the tip about tension... I'm a collegiate football athlete and have been doing Lunges for distance as my preferred goto workout to maintain my physique for the decades since my playing days. I've got a left hip impingement and always had some clicking in it. Just a few moments of the band work took my pain from about an 8 to a 3... I'm gonna ice massage and circle back to this the same way I did with my foot, shin, and knee issues.

I bought the correct heavy duty band and tethered it to a kettle bell rack so it would stay in place. I put in soooo much tension.
And now i feel like a new born.

I came back to your video, only to make this post. 1 year ago I started to have pain in my hip. I'm a fanatic watersporter and this pain really got me down. After several months of pain & scans hip impingement was detected. My surgent told me he would do surgery and that I would have to recover 3 months before going surfing again. A couple of weeks before surgery I found this video. I've been doing your exercises for one week and my pain is 95% gone! After the first day, my pain was already 50% less. I just can't believe it. I'm postponing the surgery and hope I can cancel it on long term. Thank you so much for this video!!! I would kiss you. Grtz from Belgium

@@DZ00t-sw1zm don't believe anything on the internet, this is my advice, if you tear your labrum, whether it's shoulder or hips, it will never go back to its original form unless with surgery.....take it from my experience, I'm dealing with torn labrum now and all I did is rest it, don't overuse your hips, the pain is still there but avoiding high intense activities would help you live without thinking too much about the pain.... I'm literally planning to have surgery once I can afford it....for now I'm limiting myself from high intense activities....never believe people that you can fixx it with a bunch of useless exercises, it'll just make you feel better for not more than 10 min. ..my advice is if you really have a torn labrum, then find the best surgeon and book an appointment, that's the only way to bring back your normal hips... imo it's not necessary but if you're young and still want intense activities in your lifestyle, then do it as much as possible....

I'm a runner, and I don't have the money to see a physical therapist or hire a running trainer. Luckily, the owners of the running shop I go to used to be physical therapists, so when I have issues, I go to them to identify some of my issues and then I come to this channel to find videos that can help me address my issues. Some of the videos I watch just to find more exercises for preventative work. I'm currently dealing with a sore soleus from my most recent half-marathon that I ran a week ago, so I have been going through videos while I've been resting and recovering to plan out a series of exercises I can do to improve mobility and prevent injury. I have been saying for a while that "I need to work them in," and this soleus injury is giving me a good reminder.

I takes a while of consistent work but it 100% works. In my case I added glute bridges and after the first 3 months banded side walks. Their is hope just be patient.

I’m finally getting back up to that weight, but my hip is giving me problems again and I have no idea why. This is the only video that’s given me an explanation as to why it may have happened. This is wildly helpful. Been dealing with this for months after a sumo goblet squat on a gym floor that was uneven. Didn’t think twice but then oh my god…my hip felt like it was burning. Everything on the internet is about this slow progression towards this issue, but no one explains how this might happen if you’re just being a turd not thinking “if one foot is a cm higher then the other and you go into deep hip flexion with an internal rotation at the bottom you will undoubtedly F your hip up”. Anyway, the self diagnostic tests confirmed what I’d suspected and now I have a clear game plan. Thanks!

this is also caused by lots of sitting and inactivity, making your hamstrings tight and jamming your hip flexors. Along with the advice from this video, you guys need to do three things
    1. stretch hit flexors and quads
    2. stretch hamstrings and glutes
    3. strengthen all the muskies mentioned above

I developed serious hip-pain when squatting down even though my range was not bad. I tried those excersises the first time today. I was not competely painfree and can feel i overdid it a little bit but man: I was squatting ass to the grass with even better form (neutral spine) than ever before... 😅😅😅 this is most definitely worldclass advise 🙏🙏🙏

LIKE everyone else, I found this extremely helpful. I have had this impingement for several years but I’ve never had so much relief in such a short time, especially the airplane move. It’s hard and takes awhile to get the balance but wow, so powerful. It’s not perfect but I can see that with time, I may get rid of it. Thanks again.

This was very helpful! I’ve spent so much money on trying to fix the pain but this video explains it all perfectly. I powerlift but my squat is letting me down. Going to try all of these. I find my back rounds at the bottom when getting low as a way of compensating the pain so hopefully I can fix it ! Thank you

Been dealing with hip pain for the last 2-3 weeks.. Deep tissue work, osteo (not a good one), and helped a bit but didn't solve problem. one session doing this with repeated sets has helped a lot. I'm not back to 100%but unbelievably so much better just moving around in less than an hour.

Been going through all your hip videos. Had hip surgery in October. The pain I’m getting on the inside isn’t at the bottom of the squat. But more on the rise or at the very top of a squat. Especially at the end of the airplane when I bring my feet back together

Brotha! Thank you for this video. I've been trying to figure out what to do about this pain in my hip. I don't really squat anymore because of tendon pain caused by Osgood Schlatter. So I use the leg press and standing hack squat! I felt a sharp pain in my left hip and it's been nagging me a lot.
